I think my favorite part of Seans interviewing style is the way he mirrors his guests, if theyre not taking a drink neither is he, if they're gripping the table so is he, if theyre talking fast so is he. Its a really nice subtle way to show his support and personability while they're struggling

Sean Evans isn't just one of the best, but by far, THE best interviewer I have ever seen. You can understand why his guests don't want to go on his 'hot ones' show, but the questions he asks that no other interviewer asks make him the reason why his guests want to do the show. Long live hot ones, and long may Sean continue to ask those awkward questions others fear for.

Do you ever just watch Sean as the guest is giving an answer? He’s so focused on them and clearly listening with an eagerness that’s pretty cool to see. He’s not waiting to get a quip in or looking for the next question, just taking in the answer and going wherever they take him - even if it has little to do with the question he asked.
