I live in Louisville where Larry grew up and his family is. When he got custody of the baby it was big news he brought her back here to raise. His mom and sisters were here to help raise a little girl. And there were cousins to support her. They live so “under the radar” the only time I see them is at The Derby each year. I wait for their minute on the TV. This year, Derby in September, no spectators, no celebrities on Millionaires Row. I hope everything is still fine. She’s a teenager now, so there’s that.

I think for most people fame is hard to handle. Especially if you become famous young (like child or teen). If you are born into fame (have been kept in the spot light from birth) or become one as an adult. I think it's more easy to cope with. You have strong mind set. It's just everyday life to you. Something tells me this father/daughter duo are like my 14 y/o son and I, nothing will ever tear them apart, they both have respect for each others opinions, and they both want one another to be genuinely happy. I decided long ago that a relationship with my child and helping him understand the complexities of life was more important than me having certain needs met by a significant other. That didn't mean I wasn't lonely or felt helpless many times so I did supplement with having desires met on my terms when opportunities could be arranged. Now that I have removed negative family members that "constantly reminded me of being a failure in their eyes, completely unlovable and undesirable especially with a kid" from our lives I am capable of helping my beautiful son continue his journey to adulthood with confident independence so I can date or have a relationship if someone worth my time comes along.......cause I'm not looking, just enjoying simplicity and being alive.

my guess is Dannielynn sucked her thumb like my daughter did. my daughter got braces on her top teeth while in grade school back in the early 2000's for the same reason Dannielynn may need them early: when children have elongated roofs to their mouth and "buck" top teeth, there are no support teeth on the bottom to back up the top teeth. thus the top teeth can more easily suffer damage if the child is stuck on the mouth, such as by falling. also, the top teeth can be restrained from growing so fast so the bottom jaw can get caught up. this an be done only while bone growth takes place, and for girls, the majority of bone growth stops around puberty (6th or 7th grade), not into the late teens or 20's like for boys. also, we were low income, and we paid for the entire process ourselves, so one doesn't have to be wealthy to provide their child braces.

I am SO happy to know that her father is raising her so well. It's almost like Anna is being redeemed through her daughter. I always thought that Anna wanted to be more than just a mocked reality star but it's hard to move forward when you're under the microscope all the time and people seem to want you to fail. The butterfly thing really brought me to tears, because butterflies are so fitting when it comes to Anna Nicole. I was so emotionally invested in all of this when Anna Nicole passed away. I remember how hard he fought for this baby girl and I was so relieved when the paternity test came back proving he was her daddy. He's such an awesome man. He truly loved Anna Nicole and has always wanted what's best for their daughter. I didn't know Howard was so involved in her life, but it's awesome to hear they've kept in touch. Not quite wisdom teeth come in in ur twenties so no But she foes need all her adult teeth in n by 16 your jaw line is pretty set so that’s why usually young teens get them n wear retainers after to keep them from moving back. Thats incorrect you do not have to wait until wisdom teeth have erupted. It is recommended to get braces now around age 8 as the mouth is more pliable. I'm really glad he turned out to be the father... The combined genetics made her beautiful, but more importantly, he seems to have the right mindset in how to let a kid be a kid and not some tool for money and fame. I'm sure that if, when Dani is older and would like to try her hand in modeling or acting, he would support her, but letting her grow up as a regular child is the best thing he could ever do for her. I lost it at "butterflies" ...Larry is doing a wonderful job being a Father to Dannielynn. She seems to be so down to earth and just like any other girl her age. It's a beautiful tribute to her Mom, who I'm sure is smiling down from Heaven. I'm glad that all that custody fighting and ugliness stopped years ago... that everyone is getting along for the betterment and sake of little Dannielynn. Also, I am relieved that despite a little brush with modelling, she is not really interested in modelling and show biz. It was all too volatile, consuming and destructive for her Mom...also for her late Brother, Danny. I do pray Dannielynn has a normal rest-of-her years.....and gosh, I have always thought that Larry and Keith Urban could be brothers! ;)

Wow, just reminded I'm the same age as Anna when she died and my circumstances drastically turned dire this year and I almost took mine and my son's life several times before I got the right help. I know Anna didn't take her own life, it was accidental, but had divine intervention not stepped in everytime I tried our demise would have been purely accidental from complete mental exhaustion and unrecognized emotional pain. Larry deserves a "Father of the Century award" because he fought for Dannielynn with such dignity and love for she and Anna knowing that Howard was also fighting with the same feelings. What a beautiful man for not wanting to completely rob Howard of a child he thought was possibly his or promised Anna to love like his own.

I reminded him of the inspiration he provides to myself, and others, and what a privilege it is just to know him. Sometimes it's hard to imagine that we were in that terrible place and now that we are out I can't imagine us ever going back. I needed to learn how to survive on my own, without toxic people controlling me AND show him the right type of person to become. He finished 9th and 10th grades with straight A's and treasures his educational opportunities, eagerly awaiting the day he can safely return to school.
