Anna Wintour is living up to her reputation as the real-life “Devil Wears Prada.” She's getting slammed for reportedly wearing sunglasses as the staff of the music site Pitchfork were informed they were being let go. It comes as large corporations are having massive layoffs. Even the rich and famous can be left feeling adrift when they get fired. TV personality Valerie Bertinelli was fired from hosting the Food Network show “Kids Baking Championship.”

My big advise is to take a day or a week or whatever you can afford and just relax. And then when you start putting out resumes, only do it four to five days a week. You can treat finding a job like a job, but that means giving yourself permission to take a break
