Thank you for this video showing what we go though Anna. But I still think that the whole "complicated, mysterious woman" is a prejudice arised from sexism and is a way of ailenating women. Saying women are complicated indicates that women are doing something wrong (aka something males don't do). Also it may be understood as "women don't mean what what they say" and we know the issues arising from that bias. People are the ones that are complicated, not the gender.

This video is pretty genius! Like, I feel like women have a much easier time understanding men than the other way around specially because culturally we don't have anywhere nearly as many female characters as we have male ones in fiction and like, girls grow up watching movies and reading books that show them things based off a male perspective and guys don't really get to see a lot of stories from girls perspectives, and if they do they're watching "girly movies" or something so they're kinda taught not to do it. Like, I'm a guy but i was pretty much just raised by my mom so i have always been more open minded to these things and i feel like a lot of stuff about women that's obvious to me is just a complete mistery to other dudes. So basically what i'm trying to say is: "Guys. If it's hard to understand women, just try putting yourself in their shoes more."

***** My advice for men for a higher rate of success is to flirt with women first and if they feel confident and have made the girl laugh and smile, they then have a chance, then ask them out. Also I don't like to ask random strangers out because there's a higher chance of rejection and you have no idea of who they are or what they'll be like. That's why I'd rather ask out a class mate, or coworker, someone I can talk to once in a while before I decide to ask them out.

Deadass this very morning some guy came up to me as i was getting in my car in broad daylight and i was still terrified. Even when he became friendly and just wanted to talk about where i work (i had my uniform on and he apparently loves the place) i was still like "am i about to be sex trafficked?" Like men just dont realize that sometimes their friendly is threatening and there is no polite way to tell them that

Actually I read that 3 is the maximum/optimum number of cats to have in one household. Cats have a status thing that doesn't work well with more than 3 cats, or something... Apparently 3 is a healthy number.

Anna, thank you for making such an effort to not lead a guy on and, at the same time, stay ciivl. A lot of people don't bother to communicate clearly and, after a miscommunication is revealed, don't even show remorse for having misled someone. Your high standards of integrity are greatly appreciated.

Every time I meet someone new who is male, I always wonder when is the right time to hint at him that I have a boyfriend. Because I always get self-conscious about it and I've had some experiences that taught me that some guys are only friendly, funny and cool to hang out with as long as they think you are available. So I am always dreading the moment when they ask me where I've been the last weekend. The truth would be: I had an amazing weekend with my boyfriend. And I wouldn't lie about it because that somehow feels like cheating. But I'm always kinda afraid that the new acquaintace will lose interest in me as soon as I say the word 'boyfriend' and that makes me sad because I am trying to make new friends and with guys it's so much harder. It's an internal struggle everytime :D Maybe the more I experience guys sticking with me because of me as a potential friend and not a potential bang, the more I become confident enough to not think about these things all too much. We'll see :D Btw, your depiction of the internal thoughts as a woman when a stranger approaches is spot on! Great video as always! But I think men know that we get scared pretty easily and become self-conscious too. He probably thought to himself: "Oh my god, how do I ask her in a non-creepy way? Was that too direct? I think that was too direct! Great, you blew it again! Why did you even think she would say yes? Her having a boyfriend was probably just an excuse to get rid of you." Meeting new people is always a scary and awkward place to be. :D

You may not be insane but you are indoctrinated. Men, not women, are the recipient of most of the violence in the world. 80% of murder victims are men. Yet the only form of violence we ever talk about is violence against women. Welcome to a feminist society!

Men have to thread that thin line sometimes... We aren't that different as some women think. Just as there are horny men there are horny women... :/ sad to think people still think this way.
@Gogogobobobolin8 жыл бұрын
Its not wrong thought at all. Yes there are horny men and women. Its just overall, or at least according to the over saturated media, horny men are more creepy and up front in public. And again, because of the media, women tend to fear horny men who approach them in public, fearing they might get raped or kidnapped or killed. Horny women are less put into the media as a thing to fear in public.
@mojojojoplus28 жыл бұрын
But admittedly, we're not as worried that the woman may end up getting resentful and potentially violent or become a stalker. And, well, we're usually physically stronger, so that worry is much less for us. But yes, the "try to be friendly without potentially leading someone on" line exists for us too. It's just I think the potential stakes (physical and social) are lower for us in general. We're not that different, but we do tend to be bigger, stronger, and more aggressive, and others (even other men) have to take that into account when interacting with us. Is it fair? Probably not. But, most of the power (both physical and social) is on our side, and most of the risk (both physical and social) is on theirs. And, I would argue that when both those conditions are aligned like that, with power on one side and risk on the other, it is not the second party's (women in this case) responsibility to be fair, but the first party's (men in this case) responsibility to be conscientious and understanding.

Nah, guys have to "balance" too. First off, most of the time you're larger and stronger than women you meet. So not coming off as intimidating or pressuring them in any way is a concern. This makes it difficult not to be distant or aloof. It's also nerve wracking trying to guess whether someone is in a relationship or not, and whether you should even bother trying to talk with them. If somehow you are talking to them and you kind of like them, it's also difficult to tell whether the person is "just being nice" and want desperately for you to get away from them, or if they might actually kind of like you too. One of the worst cases is when you were friends with a girl before one of your friends started dating them. Suddenly, there is a line and it's difficult being open with them. You wouldn't want to spend too much time with them or get too personal and accidently cross into boyfriend territory. That would damage the relationship with TWO friends! I'm just saying, that being a guy trying to deal with the opposite sex can be just as ridiculous as being a girl trying to do the same.
