The real doll is a child sized raggidy anne doll and by the way the main actress here her name is Annabelle which is interesting and she is also the main actress used in Jame's Wan's movie Malignant as well. Also the doll's story is a lot more complexed then it's told here. This movie was purely made up though as were the other two Annabelle movies. On another note Chucky was based off a real life doll named Robert who is now on display at a museum where it's said that he moves in his display cage and such. Glad you liked this one cause not many do and I personally liked it but it buggs me when they show the thing you are meant to be scared of because that takes away from the creepy factor to me really.

This movie is reminiscent of Rosemary's Baby in a few ways. You should watch that if you haven't, it's a horror classic.

That basement scene 😫 When the little girl runs and turns into a grown up. And when you think it tricked her into hurting the baby. OMG this one freaked me out. So glad I don't believe in this stuff 😅

Wait till you see "Annabelle: Creation"!!! They dial it up to 100!!! Hehe. The first Annabelle isn't great but even at the Conjuring Universe's worst they are still miles better and consistently scarier than most horror films brought out today =) The elevator/baby carriage/stairwell scene is terrifying in this film!

I have a recommendation of two films for you to react to: THE STRANGERS (2008) and sequel THE STRANGERS: PREY AT NIGHT (2018), Home Invasion movies with a hint of slasher very good, tense and fun (main the second), You will love it.

The real doll still is at the Ed and Lorraine Museum and it's covered with scripture from the Bible about Michael. It gets covered in a holy water paste to keep the pages all over it. You should look up videos about it and they have to move it every now and then to another box to update the scripture pages. The person that moves it wears 2 or 3 pairs of gloves and he gets messed up every time he has to handle it.
