It wasn’t the wrong door at the end, it was a push door, and Gretchen was pulling…lol

For such a weird, out-there movie, I thought the emotional core was really poignant. Cuckoo bird's MO is tricking other birds into raising their babies and thus the other bird's own babies are neglected. Alma is the cuckoo child and Gretchen is the original, neglected child. The dad and stepmom treat Gretchen as an afterthought as all of their attention is on Alma and the hooded woman is after Gretchen because she views her as a threat to the resources that would otherwise all belong to Alma. Alma's existence in the family continually puts Gretchen in danger. And yet, Alma is the only one in the family who actually loves Gretchen and tries to be there for her and by the end, Gretchen feels the same way about her. At its core this movie is a really sweet story about two girls coming together as sisters to survive, despite even nature itself seemingly against it.

Just an update: They are currently working on Final Destination 6 - Bloodlines. 😉 I can´t wait for it to come out soon. ☺

The thing that didn’t make any sense in this movie is how morning came and they realized all the vamps were at the movies and they literally wait until right before sun down to fight them even knowing that sunlight is their weakness…The ONLY smart one was the little kid

Just to point out: The camera was not the ONLY problem with the rollercoaster. 🤔 It had more faults than that as well, so some kind of accident was meant to happen anyway. 😏
