比叡山 延暦寺の散策: Walking Around Mt.Hiei-zan Enryaku-ji Temple（Kyoto, Japan）

強風の中、八瀬比叡山口から延暦寺東塔エリアを経て横川までを散策いたしました。強風のロープウェイはとてもスリルがありました。
【Enryaku-ji(延暦寺)】
Enryaku-ji is a Tendai monastery located on Mount Hiei in Ōtsu, overlooking Kyoto. It was founded in 788 during the early Heian period (794-1185). The temple complex was established by Saichō (767-822), also known as Dengyō Daishi, who introduced the Tendai sect of Mahayana Buddhism to Japan from China. Enryaku-ji is the headquarters of the Tendai sect and one of the most significant monasteries in Japanese history. As such, it is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto (Kyoto, Uji and Otsu Cities)". The founders of Jōdo-shū, Sōtō Zen, and Nichiren Buddhism all spent time at the monastery. Enryaku-ji is also the center for the practice of kaihōgyō (aka the "marathon monks").

美しい比叡山の諸堂を拝することができてありがたいです。根本中堂を除かれたのは、やはり大修理中で絵面が良くないからでしょうか。しかし中堂なしの延暦寺はやはり寂しいですね。あとは横川の元三大師堂周辺や無動寺谷や黒谷など。また比叡山やそのお膝元の坂本などの撮影をしていただけたら嬉しいです。

Can't wait to visit Japan again. This kind of historical and cultural places has been my favourite place in Japan. They are perfectly maintained in a way that I can always feel a sense of peace fell upon my soul whenever I am there. I can still remember on my last trip to Kyoto that when I was visiting a temple and walking around it, how those very soft and refreshing breezes brushed gently my face while the trees and brushes ware waving alongside. Everything was so modest, quiet, sacred and remarkably enchanting. 八瀬ルート、ロープウェーから京北の街並みを見下ろせる。坂本ルート、琵琶湖を見下ろせる。どちらも絶景です。地図だと坂本は遠回りに見えますが、どのみち八瀬も叡山電車（または京都バス）、ケーブル、ロープウェー、比叡山頂駅から東塔までシャトルバスと乗り継ぎが多いのであまり変わりません。

Lovely walk, lovely place. Obviously even better in person but to be able to gain even a part of the feeling of a surprise round every corner as the temples appeared out of the forests and clearings as you walked around was indeed magical.

最初のケーブルでいいですね！乗ってみたいです！延暦寺はとても鮮やかできれいですね！！場所と映像の時間表記がされていて、ガイドブックを手にして散策している気分になります。綺麗な映像だけではなく、細かいところまで丁寧に配慮されていて本当に素晴らしいと思います！！

コメント、誠にありがとうございます。 帰りはロープウェイとケーブルで下まで降り、叡山電車に乗ったのですがケーブルのスローペースに慣れたためか、ローカル電車に乗った瞬間あまりの速さに新幹線に乗っている気分になりました（笑）
