Yes Lucy has just turned 20 last week. Here in this song Lucy is 19, but you’ve probably seen Lucy on KZbin from aged 13, because Lucy is the wunderkind prodigy. Go back and revisit her earlier song videos, plus the duets with her younger sister Martha. They are epic! 🙂

Lucy has a voice that is rivalled by no other imo, no bells or whistles no Mariah Careyesque warbles or squeals she just sings the songs how they should be sung. Her musical Rosie is out in the West End in autumn so yes you are right she has a beautiful stage voice. Unfortunately like other artist on KZbin a lot of her material is studio recorded but if you want to hear her voice watch her sing '' never enough'' on an Irish TV interview with hardly much of a backing track.

Yes she is exceptional I first heard her 2 years ago I'm 73 and the last time I was so impressed by a voice was 1967 with Linda Rondstadt that was 55 years ago. She justs improves with every release one per month around 80 now. Signed a recording contract at 14 has released 6 cd's and a West End Musical called Rosie was written for her to star in opens in Autumn. Also duets with her younger sister Martha sublime harmonies Martha is no slouch herself.

Lucy is most likely the best female vocalist of this generation. World class! She is probably the 'music treasure' of this decade and maybe even this century. Lucy brings back the kind of singing that most people love. Her talent, ability, dedication and commitment is is evident in every song she sings. Lucy has already accomplished so much and has just turned 20 years old. She has done all this without the help of the sleepy mainstream media! If Lucy continues her career in theater and live performances, God willing, Lucy Thomas will go down in history as a legend, and celebrated as have been all the great ‘Divas’ of the past!

She’s 1 of a kind, that’s for sure. May I suggest a very recent song, which is the closing number from the musical Rosie, that she will play the lead in early next year: We Can Change The World. It has quite a message to it. Nice job evaluating her singing.

Hi So glad to see someone rediscovering Lucy. She is possible the best female vocalist in the world today. She absolutely crushed this song and made it hers. Lucy has been singing since she was 7.given a recording contract at 14 .To date she has released 6 Albums the latest the Stage production of her musical "Rosie" She has around 70 recordings on her Channel "Lucy Thomas Music" both covers and originals. She has a Live concert in Manchester next week, A concert in Tokyo in Sept. She has a beautiful voice, but if you're gonna remake a person like Barbra's song, change it up. It was basically a note for note version of Barbra's song. Not much originality. She could be a superstar with original material and the right producer. Enough with her note for note remakes of other people's songs.

With a voice like hers she needs a top of the line producer like David Foster or even Pharrell could write her some great feel good songs and great songwriters like a Diane Warren. I could see her being up there with Adele but she needs the right people to help her.

Sorry how you thought this version was note for note with Babs version baffles me!,it's the subtle changes in Lucy's version that make it quite different!,Lucy a So has a great mentor in Chris Broom who has written a # of origional songs for Lucy,he has brought her along over the last few years without trying to push her into the limelight to soon!,you need to know more about their history before you make uneducated comments!.
