For notes remember that it really depends on the subject you’re studying. Sometimes, you have hundreds of slides and you need to extract what’s important. I genuinely couldn’t imagine having to go through 300 pages whenever I need to look for something instead of just having it written down in a condensed version. Notes were my saving grace lol.

One technique that has really helped me is putting all of my study tasks in a notebook. I write everything I need to go through in my Burga journal, and it keeps me accountable all day

Writing or copying the same information is literally something which I wouldn't do any day, but yeah sometimes we have to condense high yield information on a sheet of paper which could be easily read before exams .

My slides for class are too long with a lot of fluff information that needs to be condensed. Instead of writing notes, I type them during class. I can get my study guides down 2-5 pages per lecture. At home after the lecture I read through it and organize it a bit better. I then essentially use this to do blurting method and active recall by covering the info and recalling.

No, you have to pay a fee every semester that varies from uni to uni… it may cost round about 200-400€ each semester

It’s not free. At private universities it’s upto 1000€ per month. At state universities it’s quite affordable around 500€ per semester. But the living cost are expensive as a student.
