Yes, the Abarth 595 it's a fake italian. It's made in Poland, not in Italy, in the Thychy factory. I'm italian, I live in Turin and i know what I say.

Thank you for pointing it out. There are several people commenting and taking it personally. My comment was never designed to be offensive but simply a mere fact. Nothing wrong with having Abarth being built in Poland. Mercedes builds several models in South Africa, Volvo in the US etc.

The attraction of this car to me is the ease of parking and fitting into smaller spaces the joy of an open roof. The production value that go into these videos is impressive. Cameras, video editing, music and Anna’s presentation make these videos a delight to watch.

When I bought a Seicento Abarth new back in 2001, I was asked which factory I would like it built in... the dealer recommended the Polish factory, as they took more pride in their work compared to the Italians, who.. in his words 'would rather be building Ferrari's or Maserati's'

I adore the initial scepticism, the gradual slow charming and followed by the final praise. The Abarth 500/595/695 is one of the very few genuine "fun" cars available these days. It just gets under your skin like few other cars do. I have had a 2011 A5oo from new, probably the slowest of my 3 cars - but its the one I am keeping forever.

They do, I have had a handful of the Original 124 spiders and coupes, a Lancia, and now a modern 500 abarth (I am in the states, so this is the first new fiat since 1981 for us. I still have my 1977 Fiat 124 Sport spider. Someday I will finish it's restoration.

I have to tell that I´m in Love with that CAR ( also in regular 0,9 litre with turbo and 84 HK, which a owned before I changed it it with my newer ALL tim Dream car, Alfa 895kg from 2015 ❤️🌟🇮🇹) But back to this most suprisingly car(Fiat 500), this car is the ALL TIME biggest surprize positive. It was powefull, all th things U ANNA tell, but it was also EXTREMLY good in the WINTER on snow. When people in my nighbourhoos struggle to drive in snow whith there new electric 4X4 car´s, FIAT 500 just relaxingly and calm went easy up that hill !!!! 🤣 TK 🇳🇴

It's a great city pocket rocket, only thing one should remember: kiss your back goodbye if you go on even remotely longer trip (say, 100+ km). Ride is rough!

Great car! I don't get this "bigger, better, stronger" concept. All these Porsches, BMWs, Mercedes sport cars got too wide to enable a real fun ride on an average European mountain road. Back to the old 911: in 2004 it was still 1652 mm wide, now it's 1900 mm !

Well I drive a 2014 Fiat 500 with 69hp and it is a nice car I like driving it and the engine is not very powerful but the sound is good ! I would really like to drive an Abarth coming from a Fiat 500 ! Thank you Anna and btw you're are as usual gorgeous ❤❤

anna i had one , it was a fiat badge with an awsome abarth engine , your discription and feel of the car is right on. i was offered a lot of money for it and i sold it been kicking myself for it. im a car guy had many cars and that car and my 1993 alfa spyder were my favourite. ive owned a 1969 dart 340 and a 1977 mini cooper and many american cars through 40 years of driving. i wish fiat brings those faboulous 500 back to america.

I guess it's a good auto slalom kind of car, can be thrown around a lot and without the need for reaching high speed it probably does fairly well at heavy cornering. I took my GTX for a long drive over the mountains last week and it was amazing! I mean, it was the best car i have ever had the pleasure of driving through everything the mountains could throw at it, even the Model Y i was driving together with had nothing to say on the overall performance of the GTX, the Model Y didn't take the twists and turns well enough to keep me at a distance, not by a long shot.

Excellent review and glad you liked it, but you have to try the Competizione with the MTA gearbox. It's not a true auto. It's a manual with paddles and is SO much fun. You can keep both hands on the wheel in tight twisty bends and change up and down far faster than clutch-gear-clutch 😁

Amazing car! I've had 27 since I began driving in 1995 at 15yo, and this is by far my favourite. I have a 595 Competizione though, bought new in Oct '21, and what counts is it makes me smile when I'm thinking about it, walking up to it, and from red light to red light!
