A collection of time-lapses I shot during the 1st Pakistani expedition to Annapurna in March/April 2021.
Mt. Annapurna stands tall at 8,091 metres and is the world's 10th highest peak. It's also the most dangerous one among all 8,000ers. In Spring 2021, however, the mountain favoured climbers, and there were a record 67 summits. Thus, on 16th April 2021, Sirbaz Khan and Abdul Joshi became the first Pakistanis to stand atop Annapurna.
I was a part of this expedition as a photographer/filmmaker. I will be releasing more videos soon on KZbin. There is also a documentary film in the works.
These time-lapses were shot using Sony Alpha 7iii, Sony Alpha 7Riii, GoPro, and DJI Osmo Pocket 2.
About 6,000 individual images in 6K and 8K resolution were stitched together and edited with GoPro 4K videos to create this time-lapse. Make sure to watch in 4K.
