Hey, let me start with apologizing for the inconveniences you have faced because of us. Please give me a chance to clarify. Our business currently is divided in 2 parts: The crowdfunding part was done via Kickstarter and Indiegogo. Unfortunately due to Covid, shortage of semiconductors and rising costs, it has been rather difficult for us to manufacture the lproducts. However, we are working towards expediting the production and delivering all products by early next year. The other part of our business is the classic boards that we sell - The Grand Kingdom Board and the Pro Board. These boards have been selling for many years now and will be delivered within 7 days. Having said that, we do understand your inconvenience and promise to resolve this issue at the very earliest.

This is bad practice and illegal. Covid shortages were over a year ago, yet you’re still using this excuse. It’s not your money to use. It belongs to customers. You seem perfectly capable of providing a board for promoting your scam and responding to comments here that you were obviously looking out for. Yet, you couldn’t give refunds? Not even explanations? So, why haven’t you been upfront about the fact you’re unable to fill orders? Why don’t you respond to customers who don’t get their orders? Yeah, you know exactly what you’re doing - scamming.

The whole point is to bring the board with you. But you could just bring a basic fold/roll up and pieces. I guess it's cool to integrate it into chess apps if you want a physical board. But if you are using chess apps to play you most likely are at your house or somewhere a board or PC isn't practical. Meaning a full proper board would probably make more sense as it could live on a coffee table or something and be a permanent fixture. I feel like this is more gimmicky than practical. Why bring a board somewhere to play with a machine or internet people when you could play with random people in a park using your phone as a chess clock?

You can play against the A.I on a physical board, and record, analyse the games. This also helps to improve your game. The board can play on 20 different A.I levels upto 3500 ELO. Why would you want to wait for someone in an outdoor setting to play with you, when you can just roll out and start playingg..

@@SquareOffChessRubbish you are still doing it now but worse as it's not even a kickstarter delay. You can go onto your site and order a swap and it will give you a delivery date. However there is no possibility to cancel the order, you mark it a shipped instantly so cant amend address but then supply no tracking details, delivery date comes and goes and no product arrives. The expectation is delivery in 1-2 weeks internationally but years pass with no delivery and no reply to emails and the chat function on the website just loops round in circles saying it has chased my email thanks for understanding if that isn't AI then you must be employing trained lamas

It'd be a lot cooler if the pieces moved on their own to the right places. I know that'd be a technical nightmare though, I can't even imagine how it'd be possible. It'd have to move other pieces out of the way then remember to move them back. The tech isn't there yet for that

Yes it does. It knows if you have made a correct or an incorrect move. In case of an incorrect move the led lights on the board start to blink, showcasing an incorrect move. Also it is connects with your smartphone via the Square Off app to indicate an error in movement.

They should have metal or lead weights in their feet and should have proper dimensions. A rook must be as tall as a square is wide, otherwise the perception of the board and the position will be limited when judging a position with a lot of chessmen still being on the board.

I'm not really understanding whats going with this board . If you are playing with a real person you can just use a regular board and if you are playing online you can go any where you want in the house or work and see the board on your phone . Are people really going to set in front of a board with no one on the other side and not only do you have to make your moves you have to make the other persons move . This does not make any sense. How can you be faster on a physical board when you have to move both sides what she said makes no sense at all . Its 239.00 dollars and it just a board if you don't have your phone right next to you and you have to have a connection so just use your phone .
