I love this cover. There's such a long history of female singers honoring their male influences, so it's great to see some guys having the guts to return the favor. :) There is an older cover he did of Let It Go from Frozen which I love, but is less popular. Well worth checking out for fun though.

Great reaction Anna! First time hearing Yannis. I have to admit I've seen his name come up numerous times in connection with Ghost Love Score and was skeptical of him doing a very good job covering Floor's vocals. I stand corrected. I'm extremely impressed! The only complaint that I have about the performance was the way the camera kept panning in and out on his face through out the whole song. I found it more than a little unsettling.

When I saw Beast in Black as support of Nightwish in December I was already excited and had a great time, although I didn't see anything cause every dude around me was 1.90m xD anyway went to their own tour in February, made it close to the front, and just watched Yannis so closely to see if he really makes these sounds... Wow! Is this where choir boys go when they've escaped the cloisters?! Is he a classically trained tenor - counter-tenor? - gone metal? What are you doing to me Anna? I've always loathed screaming vocals - but this is absolutely beautiful. Spectacular arrangement in all parts. Yes - clearly Yannis DOES know this song backwards, he's even 'conducting' each note & transition with his head! Which is kinda super cute & strangely super hot at the same time. {Oh my! Transitioned to 'fan girl' That's worrisome! 😵💫🤩}

Please please please don’t stop these videos. If you’ve ever watched any USA “vocal coach reacts” videos you’ll see it’s basically just a vocal coach/singer who watches the video and gives a couple small comments (good or bad) and that’s the whole video. No details or going back to review key points just blah. 👎🏻 A HUGE thank you for actually telling us in detail what’s going on and explaining it in technical terms but also in a way the average non-singer person can understand. I really appreciate you going back over several points in the performances to really show us examples of what you are hearing as a professional. Your reacts videos are hands down the best! I would love to see some more reacts on iconic USA singers, especially live shows where you can hear slight mistakes or octave changes to avoid high notes but to the untrained ear it just sounds a little off in places. Thank you for doing weekly videos, I’m subscribed now that I’ve found you. And ps - thank you for the subtitles, while Finnish is a beautiful language I only speak English. 🤦🏼♀️😀

Awesome reaction, did Anna.exe stop working for second there? I think he did great, but wasn't he making it extra hard for himself going that high in pitch? I think Floor, in whatever style or technique, is still being Floor, just for instance a classical version. When going on the high end of your range, it's like "doing a voice" and should be way harder. Maybe even more technically awesome he could pull it off, and so well. A lower pitch might make it more pleasant, even more powerful and more his own? On the other hand in the second part this high pitch gave it a more frantic vibe, like falling in reverse with I'm not a vampire. Beside it being an awesome song, what I liked most about this video is your smile. And editing Anna's comments 😂. Hope to catch the premiere next time (was going to watch but something came up). Have a great weekend! 😘

Anna.exe stopped working for multiple times during this reaction I think hahahh 😂 I think this sort of cover needs a little different point of view from the listener. I do get your point, I still think Floor owns this song too! Yannis could have modified his vocals/this song a bit more to make it sound more like him. It is hard work though, especially with GSL which is far from a humble little tune. Definitely some Falling in reverse vibes here! Thank you Bella. ❤️ I'm glad to know "editing Anna's" comments aren't too much! 😂😂 It's alright. Hope to catch up with you next week then! xx

It's rare when I like such notes. I was almost upset. But then a powerful drive began, and I "stuck". I've heard a couple of the artist's songs before. On "good". But here on "gorgeous!" It's quite easy to make you smile and even laugh out loud, Anna. Tulee mieleen että originaalissa on ehkä vähän toppuuteltu noita "värittämisiä" joita Yannis tässä harrastaa. Luulen että Flooriltakin löytyisi tarpeen tullen repertuaaria mutta näin jälkikäteen on kiva vähän lisäillä jotain. Itsehän en laulamisesta juuri mitään käsitä mutta suurimman osan tässäkin tuli mieleen että joku muu laulaa ja kaveri vaan vetää playbacckina. Kyllä! Floor ownaa tän kappaleen munkin mielestä edelleen. Nuo efektit ovat toisaalta "helppoja" lisiä coveriin ilman, että lähtee muuttamaan kokonaisi melodiakulkuja ynnä muita, joten ymmärrän Yanniksen valinnat. Käänteis-Jinrer! 😂 No joo! Joko olet käynyt katsomassa mun Marcelito Pomoy-reaktion? Ei ehkä musatyyliltään sunkaltainen mutta siinä on käänteis-Jinjeriä kerrakseen!

@@annavaskelainen no kävin katsomassa.

Huh huh.

May I request your reaction to this amazing performance by Daneliya Tuleshova "Not your war" by Okean Elzy kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y4rSdaafl9yteas Is an Ukrainian song written after the 2014 war with Russia which lead to the annexation of Crimea to Russia. Is now more actual than ever to spread this words of peace. It's the final performance in the The Voice Kids Ukraine 4th season 2017. She barely keeps tears at bay when she sings and is really shaken during the final comments as the spectators and the judges. There are Russian subtitles (don't select the auto-generated one) and the auto translation to english works well. This is the transcript: Daneliya's words at the end of the song: Well, maybe it is enough? I have a dream to live in a country Where we're united Where every child and every family is happy Where I can be a human Where there's no war and hatred Where we can courageously move forward Where I see light and don't see weapons Where I'm proud of you and myself... Coach comment translation: Monatik: It will be better to tell how it all began... When we were working on the final song I asked Danya (diminutive from Daneliya) what did she want to sing? She replied that she adores "Okean Elzy" group. And I asked her "What song do you want to sing?" She replied: "The War That's Not Yours". And I thought: "Such a little girl... Whether she can feel and understand such a complicated song? I asked her to sing and I was just flabbergasted. Daneliya, I just want to tell you, dear Daneliya Tuleshova, you have to understand that you are held responsible... As far as I understand you are now the Voice of all the children of our planet... You have a great mission here... I'm honestly sure about it... And soon you will understand how important this mission is. That is why I'm deeply honored to touch to your creativity, to work with you, it's an honor for me to be your coach in the project the Voice of Ukraine... And regardless of the outcome of this project, you can feel by every particle of your body of what is happening... On any language, you can convey what is deep down in your heart... And you are really incredible. Thank you for everything you do on this show... And God willing you will be the world's greatest star... And I'm glad that here, on the Voice of Ukraine, we have such a kid... Thank you very much!
