Hi! In this video I'm reacting to TWO DimasH performances: "Unforgettable Day" and "El Amor En Ti"! Both of these songs have been highly requested so together with the support from "Dimash Qudaibergen Fanclub Finland" we decided to do a little Dimash marathon and even do a separate reaction/analysis to "The Story Of One Sky" too so keep your eyes peeled for that!

YE S, have a box of tissues ready. Especially if you react to the music video. It took the most money spent on any music video and it took 3 years to make. The Pope gave Dimash an award for the video and the message it delivers by text at the end of it! I think he deserves a Nobel peace prize for it. By the way, this performance was based on the fact Dimash said he would do a Spanish song. And this debut happened right after the debut of The Story Of One Sky! 🎶🎶👱‍♀👱‍♀👗👗👠👠❤❤

From what I have heard, Dimash had just premiered the live version of The Story of One Sky before the Almaty audience was surprised with El Amor En Ti. The suspicion is that he really needed to rest his voice before continuing his (almost 4? Hours) set. Really creative way to rest his voice! Yes, prepare yourself and collect your tissue before The Story of One Sky! Both the MV and the live version have value to see. I hope you watch both - whether on camera or not. Cheers from Canada!

At the age of 5, Dimash was accepted into the most distinguished music academy in his country. Now writing his Doctoral thesis for a PhD in Musicology/ Composing, he received all his degrees with honors while simultaneously filling arenas and maintaining his performing career, a first! He has a bachelors degree in vocals, a master's degree in composition and is about to complete his PhD in musicology this year.

What a concept, playing and singing four different parts of the same song, and with three prerecorded visuals to back it up. Once the camera is further away you'll see the different heights of each Dimash, the different scale of each. And, of course, Every Dimash song is a study in dynamics. Queen and Michael Jackson are long time favorites of Dimash.

Beautiful heartfelt reaction. In my opinion you should check out the live version of the story of one sky, before viewing the mini movie video version. It will allow you to process the lyrics and vocals apart from the distraction of the video. ( Nothing beats watching Dimash sing live anyway in my opinion) You will need tissues for both versions 😢. You may more easily understand the movie version better having experienced the live version first. Whatever you decide, thanks for all your hard work making these reactions to Dimash. I love your comment & I agree with you on everything, except the order in which to watch them. But you have a great point, in that it's very hard to fully register everything Dimash is doing vocally in the MV, the visuals & story are just too riveting to fully focus on the vocals. And Dimash has stated that the story is more important than his vocals in this case. However, everyone should fully appreciate both the story/ message AND his mind-blowing vocals - after all, if it's only the message that's important, you could have vocals done by some mediocre singer. But Dimash went insanely all out on the vocals, while paradoxically wanting to emphasize the message more - the whole thing is just so awesome & incredible! I saw the MV 1st, then the live bootleg & felt like I understood everything very well that way. But in the opposite order, I'm sure the result ends up being the same; once you've seen them both, it doesn't really matter. In any case, the bottom line is that everyone should watch both!!

Unforgettable Day - If we check other versions that Dimash sings of this song (which he wrote when he was younger), we can see a melisma or other very beautiful variations in this part of the "whistle". Here, singing on an open stage and with some discomfort in the return (we can see it several times by adjusting the headphones) we realize, in this specific part of the song, that he is going to do something and, not being able to do what he would like (Perhaps the interference of the audience or the inaccurate response of the sound, a fact that impaired his concentration), he then issued this wonderful and historic C#8 modulated to D8, with vibrato! In a more technical analysis, we can see that the notes sound dissonant, as they do not belong to the harmonic field of the tonality of the music. Still, it's a demo of technique! He must have instantly thought, "Since I couldn't do what I wanted, I'll improvise!" So he emitted the inconceivable, supernatural D8 (4698.64 Hz)! Of course, this is a joke to me, but it makes one wonder: What is Dimash's limit? El Amor En Ti - The theme of the song is love and Dimash builds a narrative of accepting the various parts of this love that lives in us: melancholy, joy and passion... Dimash is not a bad one, a good one and a passionate one. These are moments that must be embraced and understood so that we accept who we are and can see the light that dwells in us!

I also strongly suggest you what the live version of this song at his Almaty concert. Its in part three of this concert. It is heart wrenching. I think watching the music video first is the right thing to do. Because of the action in the video Dimash’s singing becomes background music. Watching it live after watching the video shows you what is going on in the video, with background scenes, while seeing and hearing every note Dimash sings. This is a masterpiece. His message to the world needs to be heard. See you again. Bev

For “Unforgettable Day”: I think that astonishingly high note just kept going into the sky and left the Earth. For “El Amor En Ti”: some people have said it’s like Dimash has more than one person inside him, due to his ultra-expansive vocal range. And with this live performance it’s almost as though he took that concept and ran with it- with multiple Dimashes on one stage. P.S. “The Story Of One Sky” is as powerful and moving as a music video can be.

Google translation : I am very glad to see you again, Anna! As for "The Story of One Sky", I have two tips for you: the first is to prepare napkins to wipe away tears and the second, but this is rather not advice, but a remark - get ready for the fact that due to the intensity of everything that is happening (video and music, lyrics) you probably won't be able to grasp and evaluate everything that is happening right away. In addition, there are a lot of metaphors and hints in the official video and this video lasts about 13 minutes, it's essentially a whole movie.

For The Story of One Sky it would be instructive to see first the video made by a Vietnamese fan, the sound is not of superior quality, but we can see his extraordinary liveliness and versatility live, here he sings in almost all imaginable styles and on the vast majority of its vocal range. The official video is, however, a special artistic achievement, and the human message transmitted is absolutely suffocating for the viewer. It is almost impossible not to cry while listening and watching. This video is entirely a complex work of Dimash brand (the music, script and direction belong to him, the lyrics are by Vinogradova, who usually writes lyrics for Igor Krutoy's songs). Its realization lasted 3 years, so it started before the war between Russia and Ukraine, but it was launched last summer and the time chosen is significant. This video is so full of metaphors that every time you watch it you discover something new, a deeper meaning and a greater emotion, but its essence boils down to the sentence We-are choosing life! This sentence appears as a chorus, but it impresses when it is a cry, a moan a scream in full rock style in the video under the primordial water that gave birth to life!

Yes, that is the best advice. You will need a couple of viewings to mentally get hold of the entire richness of the video. The video is such an integral part of The Story Of One Sky that only the music, lyrics, and Dimash singing it doesn't do the whole piece of art justice.

yes, you will need your tissues, it is an amazing work that took him 3 years to finish. He only wants peace in the world. Story of One Sky is a masterpeace. El Amor En Ti, I can only imagine being in an outdoor concert with Dimash holograms 3 stories high or more singing to the entire city just by being there. Huge, visual, perfect. He has grown since Unforgettable Day and continues to do so. He continues to amaze. Good to see you, haven't for a long time it seems unless somehow I just missed you. I will be waiting for your reaction

#dimash... SUBSCRIBED for some more Dimash! Get a box of tissues and take yourself some time to the reaction to "The story of one sky" MV (it took Dimash 3 years to compose this masterpiece). He also wrote its script and acts in it. The vocals, the visuals, the meaning of the lyrics are so heartwrenching... Looking forward to it! Also, do react to "Omir" (Life), which he composed and wrote the lyrics as a gift to his Dears on his birthday. Sooo good! Love from Portugal 🇵🇹

Enjoyed your analysis and reaction to these Dimash performances. Of note, he is singing in Chinese and Spanish, which are two of his eleven song and speaking languages. I have listened to vocal coach reactions from the various countries, and what stands out were the comments on his perfect language speak. Dimash's creativity and vocal skills put him in the top tier of all world singers. And...his most precious attribute is his humbleness and true love for his "Dears". He is also an ambassador for world peace spending over $3 million dollars creating "The Story of One Sky" video. You will love the video and do have a tissue in hand. I recommend that you react to the live performance of the song, which proceeded El Amor En Ti. It is the greatest emotional performance that I have ever seen. I would love to see your reaction and hear your comments.

Unforgettable Day's whistle note was C8 then D8. But Dimash also has voice hiccups, because that part right before the infamous D8, he went for his usual F7 or G7 and nothing came out, so when he went for it again, the D8 popped out. He doesn't really hit those super high whistles anymore. And i heard he wasn't feeling great during Gakku. If you watch the MV of The Story of One Sky, definitely have some tissues on hand. The live version is also emotional, but the visuals of the MV hits a bit hard.

Writen by Heiderose Kober ( STORY OF ONE SKY ) This is subtitled "Requiem” but it is also a vision and a call to action. Dimash is steeped in sacred music and has a deep understanding of the mystic teachings and symbolism of the major world religions as well as Kazakh shamanism. It is not by coincidence that the first performance of this work took place on September 14, 2022, at the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Kazakhstan. The written statement at the end of the video is directly from the “Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together” signed jointly on February 4, 2019, by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting. Everything Dimash does is intentional, and this piece has layers that would take a dissertation to unravel. I only touch on some of what struck me in the symbolism. The music is a dissertation all by itself. The pendant is an interesting element. It is a gnomon from a maritime compass sundial. This triangular blade is attached to the sundial, casting a shadow on the sundial while the perforated pinhole projects the image of the sun onto the dial. It was used for both timekeeping and navigation, with the gnomon oriented to True North. (Thank you, Snarky Tart for that information). In the MV, the child who later becomes the military commander never puts on the necklace. After Dimash, the boy, gives his friend the pendant, the camera focuses on his hand and shows that his friend has bent the gnomon in anger over being rejected by the girl. Thus bent, it can never be oriented to True North, and he has lost his moral compass. Later, we see a version of the gnomon as the military insignia on the uniforms of the commander and his soldiers, but distorted and without the hole that allows light to shine through rendering it useless as a compass. When we lose the original intent of a symbol by twisting it into something it is not or by just paying lip service, it no longer has any spiritual meaning. At best it becomes a useless prop, at worst it is used to mislead and manipulate people. Contemporary music is also present: With the phrase "We have passed the moment of Imagine," Dimash reminds us that we are past the sentiments evoked by the song "Imagine" by John Lennon. It is time to stop dreaming about a world of peace and harmony. If we choose life, if we wish for peace, if we want a world without war for our children and grandchildren, we must act and take up the long hard path up the mountain towards the light. It is the only way. The storyline is a very human one: we start as innocents until our hearts are broken, we fail, or our dreams are not realized. If in our pain and disappointment, we turn to anger and blame instead of acceptance, power instead of love, greed and envy instead of generosity, hatred instead of forgiveness, and revenge instead of justice, we sow the seeds for conflicts that can turn into war. The Piper's call is seductive as it promises redress for our grievances, control over our circumstances, and power over those who thwarted us, and this appeals to our wounded ego. However, let's remember that the Piper is a symbolic figure of Death from the Middle Ages, often used as a metaphor for trusting and following charismatic but dangerous and malevolent leaders to certain death. Even if we resist, as the adult Dimash character does, we often employ the same methods and weaponry as the Piper, and thus those who fight back betray peace as well because peace cannot be won through violence. That is the dilemma of those of us who did not start the war, who do not support the war, but are forced to respond in order to defend ourselves and those we love. How can we rid the world of evil without becoming what we fight against? The burning sign "Waldenberg" is a reference to the end of WWII when the US Army destroyed the last of the resistance by the German Wehrmacht close to the end of the war in April 1945 in the part of Germany where I grew up. I have seen the aftermath of war as I was born a few years later when much of Germany was still in rubble. Waldenburg is only 28 miles from my hometown and was completely destroyed as you can see from the picture. Many of the dead in those bombed out buildings were women and children. The good guys defeated evil but at what price? War is not the answer. We must find better ways to keep evil in check. The last movement is powerful: The cries over the loss of a beloved child and the cries of giving birth to new life are presented as a call-and-response grounded by a powerful Om chant that creates a sacred space, reminding us that death and birth are both sacraments and are interwoven in the tapestry of life. Dimash's vocalization and the pilgrims representing world religions and religious leaders, past and present, walking together shift the narrative toward the final conflict and finally redemption. When Dimash’s character decides to avenge the murder of his daughter, his state of consciousness is reflected in the darkening sky with lightning bolts of anger accompanying the storm of his emotions that buffet the pilgrims. The fog of war obscures the light. When he is killed after exacting retribution, he is dropped back into the "sacred womb" of Earth, the ocean of love and mercy, and is cleansed of the old hatreds and grievances that only bring more death and suffering. He breaks the wheel of endless war and suffering by choosing life. Dimash's scream of “we’re choosing life” is that of giving birth: the old earthly consciousness of an eye for an eye has to die to make way for a new spiritual consciousness that embraces all life. Soul is breaking free to return to its natural state of love and purity as exemplified by the images of the children and the newborn baby. The blowing of the shofar signals God's mercy for humankind when it turns from wrong to right: in the Zohar, the book of Jewish mysticism, it says: “When human beings repent of their sins, they blow the shofar on earth. Its sound ascends On High and awakens the heavenly shofar, and so mercy is aroused and judgment is removed.” Reborn as a leader for peace and love, Dimash's character in the form of his son becomes a spiritual guide for all of mankind on our shared journey up the mountain towards the light of God, however we may interpret or name the divine. We are all on the same path, even if our personal narratives, cultural heritage, race, and spiritual orientations are very different from one another. By focusing on our common destination rather than on our differences, we can walk together in peace and love and mutual respect. Carl Jung wrote: “Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darkness’s of other people. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious. The most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely. Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” This is what Dimash has done with this work; he has made the darkness conscious. We can only raise our individual and collective consciousness by bringing to light what needs to be healed in our lives and our world, and then we need to work together to restore wholeness to what is broken and bring about peace and unity, one step at a time. We don’t have to wait. We can start right now. As the hymn tells us: "Let there peace in the world, and let it begin with me."

Do you remember the Diva song from The Fifth Element, a movie with Bruce Willis? In this film, the song of the alien Diva was made half with the voice of an opera singer, and half synthesized on a computer to show an alien voice so that human capabilities could not cover the range and jumps of this song, and so: Dimash sang it calmly, which proves that Dimash is an alien😆😆😆😆😆

Great reaction!!! Unforgettable Day - I have a musical background (trumpet) and when I first heard Unforgettable Day and his D8 I too heard him bend that note up to the D8. Being the music geek that I am I had to play that recording through a frequency identifier app. Dimash hit a C8 and then bent it up to a D8. A D8's frequency is 4698.63 Hz and Dimash hit 4702 Hz which is pretty much spot on - Just incredible. El Amor En Ti - I see a lot of reactors say he goes from "operatic" to "pop" but for me I don't think it's "pop" but more of a "fusion" jazz type feel. Either way hearing 4 Dimash's all singing together in harmony is incredible. I can't imagine what it must have been like being there hearing it live! Such a generational talent and we get to hear him during our lifetime!!

In my opinion: Once more a reaction that's truely adequate to the songs. I have seen some Dimash songs before and (Fans, PLEASE, don't kill me) sometimes I was not sure if his "vocal gymnastics" really suited the song. Still, his abilities blew me away !!! Then I watched " kzbin.info/www/bejne/jpK0d5mneJifpLc " being fan of Lara and Aida and learned: he's a great musician/vocalist in his very own league. Now this. Your comments and analysis dear Anna: top notch ! I don't know if artists watch reactions.
