Obviously Alexander can't understand our language but that doesn't mean he should be excluded from the conversation. He's their guest. It’s a good thing that Anne kept speaking English the whole time as a respect for her Co-star and I don’t understand why kris needs to speak tagalog most of the time when an international actor is being interviewed along with Anne. Kris probably didn’t know Alexander Dreymond has become a huge star doing “ The Last Kingdom”. Treatment might be different if she knew who he is.

I think it is not only out of respect for Alexander that Anne speaks English. She is originally from Australia (born and raised) who moved to the Philippines with her family to start a model and acting career and hadn't probably used her native language ever since. Joining the Blood Ransom (which is pretty good in my opinion) movie and meeting the American co-stars - including Alexander - gave her the chance to finally talk again in English, something that she had not done or couldn't do since she decided to stay in the Philippines.

When you have an international guest its quiet rude to speak tagalog during the interview. Considering that Kris is well educated and can speak good english. Its kinda rude you talk to a language that the other person doesn't know.. I remember Boy abunda's interview with Nicholas Spark at the bottomline wherein Boy Abunda spoke entirely in english.. But speaks tagalog with Charice while David Foster on the side looking so lost and confused in an interview.. I'm just so glad Charice speak in english as to not add disrespect to David Foster.
