2:47 Mole on right side of her face. 2:52 Mole on left side of her face. What gives? Some portraits have no mole on her face. I took a class in photography and here's my guess: Flipped negative in printing switches left to right and vice-versa. Absence of mole is a retouching job. I saw her in "Forbidden Planet" in '56, first run, and I sensed every boy in the theater fell in love with her. She was a beauty queen.

Anne Francis was a likable actress who came into the public in the early 50's. In fact, as a little boy, I first saw her in Lydia Bailey with Dale Robertson. I though she was pretty, especially those lovely striking blue eyes. Although we had a regular supply of movie magazines to our house, Anne was visible in these magazines sporadically. She didn't enjoy the extent of fame of say Debbie Reynolds or Jane Powell, but, nevertheless, still managed to appear in movies during the 50's that included: Dream Boat, Bad day at black rock, Blackboard Jungle, Susan slept here, Tip on a dead jockey and Forbidden Planet. When demand for her services in the movies tapered off, she found steady work in television in popular shows like Route 66 with George Maharis, Night Gallery and others. What gave her career a reboot was the popularity of her TV show "Honey West". Despite being a nice slick entertainer, this series didn't play beyond one season. The characters - Annie Francis and John Ericson - were hard-core players, who were fit and agile. Honey West was an adrenaline-pumping action thriller. It had all the ingredients one could expect from a series of this genre.

This is a crap video. Many pictures are in the wrong years, including one listed under 1980 with a caption that says it was from an event in 1977. Then there's one under 2000 which was also included under 1983. Do these right or don't do them at all.
