I have the same experience as you, all that it took was a summer to fall in love with these two, the show, the books, the movies...this song is perfect for them: the doubt of where they stand “remains to be seen” and their soon to be difficult and long journey to each other. You really showed how with all the experiences they go through alone will one make them more mature, more in love and eventually everything will fall into place when it’s time for them to be together. This show has been towards the top of my to-watch list since it came out. I haven't had the chance to watch it yet, but I was a huge fan of the Anne of Green Gables books so I was super excited to watch this video! I have been a big fan of your videos since...2013? Well, for a _long_ time. You just have a way of putting clips together that makes it so _meaningful._ The way you put together the clips and voiceovers at the beginning was so telling as to how thought-out the rest of this video would be (like all your videos, honestly, I don't think you could ever edit a _bad_ video). The aesthetics and the subtle parallels of this show only enhanced your talent even more. And the bit around 2:40 to 3:25 where you showed them warming up to each other over time!! Bravo. Beautiful job, as always!

Ben Howard is one of my faves, and seeing you using this song got me gasping. Such a gentle touch, you did the song justice. It was beautiful and mesmerizing, and just all around captivating to watch. You got me in a complete rapture for over five minutes. so i have a playlist on youtube where i compile my all-time favorite videos, some going back as far as 2008 when i joined youtube. i typically add videos after seeing them and then constantly returning to them for a few months. this is the first video i've added on my first viewing and that just says a lot about how i feel about this video. you had me straight crying 30 seconds in, just in awe of the song choice and cinematography and loaded glances these two share. they've been a childhood otp of mine for almost 20 years and i consider them a cornerstone of my own romantic preferences, and to see them so unequivocally represented in all their earnestness, hesitation, youthful misunderstanding and burgeoning love is a true honor. you well and truly destroyed me, yasmin, and i genuinely cant wait to discuss the next season with you and see you capture them once their relationship is as realized and we know this show will make it. thank you for this, i really love it

If you're looking for a song for an edit it think "you have my heart" by emily sage and stephen day is a song that potrays the relationship dynamic between the two in the third season very completely. When I saw you had uploaded a new video I had no doubt it would be good 'cause your videos are always fantastic, but honestly this is hands down the best Anne/Gilbert video I've seen and the song is one of my favorite so I got very excited when I heard it! Taking on a Ben Howard song is not easy, especially this one, but you've done it perfectly. I've actually found out about the books a few years ago via a web series here on KZbin, which is a modern adaptation of the story and then I started reading the books and then watched the '80s adaptations, and I fell in love with their relationship, it's definitely one of my favourite OTPs of all time, though at times I would've gladly smacked Anne on the head for being so slow and stubborn in denying her feelings for Gilbert. This series has changed and added a lot of things but I think they've done a good job with a lot of what they've done differently - though I did hope to get some more Shirbert this season. I'm really glad it was renewed for a third season and, even though I know well how things go, I can't wait to see how things develop between them given their propensity to make some changes. Thank you so much for sharing this!

This series is a great voice for the showing of all that was in the past and women's power and relates to real life issues and Anne has to gain influence to be heard. We can clearly see the point of the author in well filmed scenes and it expresses well the behavior of the characters. To see even more of this amazing series and the dialogues that just fit so well with the intention of each adventure and acts, I HIGHLY recommend YOU to watch this serie (2017) and to be astonished by the so powerful words they can give you, as well as a very well created background story. This is a beautiful story and this movie interpreted everything to make it more valuable. The filming and scenes, the choice of environment, costumes, way of acting is just amazing ♥ This hard work from so many really gave its fruits! I think this movie has so much story and expresses many points. The movie, filming, costumes, as well as all the environment so well chooses and all the frameworks were just perfectly fitting. (-:

I always felt like Gilbert liked Anne from the first moment he saw her and when she hit him over the head with her slate. Just the way he looks at her says it all. I'm getting really excited for the show to return so I can see these two again. I've been watching fan videos of them like crazy because I can't wait any longer. I'm probably going to run out of watching them because I watched almost all of them. I've only read the first book so I'm not familiar with the rest of the story but I'm curious to see how their relationship would evolve. I do know from the movies, Gilbert gets sick and Anne finds out and goes to visit him and she realizes she has feelings for Gilbert. I wonder if they're going to follow that same story line. I hope so. I actually want to see it. I know Anne already has feelings for him now so it's definitely different from the book. I wonder how it'll play out though. It's obvious that Gilbert likes her. I'm just waiting for the moment when he realizes it, too. Anne has, now it's his turn.
