Love is not a human experience. It is a sacrificial motive. Experiencing means nothing if you value the comfort more than the one who comforts you. Having the willingness to offer comfort is less significant than the willingness to throw yourself in the flames for another person. "No greater love than a man who would lay down his life for a friend." If love is courage, then sex is weak while used in the way she makes it out to be. The love she declares is so weak compared to the love Jesus showed when he tore up His flesh for our sake. Jesus had the same gender as me. But He laid down His life.

@@andrewinman1687 God greatest gift to us is Love. and He love us all whether you're a criminal, a sinner, a whore, a gay, He loves us all.unconditionally..and No one can ever judge someone's love if it is weak or strong. No One. And love is not only about sacrificing. Because the only who can define love is the one who felt it. Love has no boundaries, No rules, no standards, and No ranking. Love is Love.

ALL sin affects the world negatively. God said that sin enters the earth through man's thoughts, words, & actions. Choosing to sin against God is not "being born an abomination", it's a CHOICE to go against the authority of God & become a law unto each individual self. The Bible is the Word of God who created all things, & the only firm foundation to which all things can be weighed & balanced. That's why God gave man > his < teachings, laws, Commands, judgements & the historical account of creation. God put all these instructions in the hearts of man so that they are always aware of their 'choice' of serving good or evil & what is allowed or forbidden. Hiding from God was the first thing Adam & Eve did when they chose to sin. They weren't "born sinners", they chose sin. Secondly, they blamed God for their sin! It's an impossibility for God to create a human being with an unforgiveable sin, call it a hated, abomination, or then deny him access to Heaven. Impossible! God said, "Neither homosexuals, adulterers, fornicators, murderers, liars, thieves, gossipers, usurpers, blasphemers, nor idol worshipers will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Sin is not OF God; sin is OF Evil. God will not allow Evil into Heaven. What kind of world would it be if liars, adulterers, murderers, etc. designed their own flags, held their own parades, adopted innocent children, taught them how to steal, lie, murder etc., organized themselves into gov't. positions to change their crimes into acceptable laws, then forced the world to accept the accumulation of their sins as 'normal'? Would it be like Sodom? This is God's world & God's rules. This losing battle that's meant to force a world to accept & respect sin without consequences actually involves changing (not the world's laws), but the laws of Heaven, which God will never do.

I am a conservative Republican and I support gay marriage. I must confess, though, that I was not always of this mindset. In my 20s I used to be extremely conservative, so much so that I was a regular listener of Rush Limbaugh and a self-described "dittohead". I was never intentionally mean or cruel to gays, lesbians and transgenders, but I must admit that I used to laugh at some of the stereotypical jokes and comments including the portrayals of many gays, lesbians and transgenders in the media. I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to each and every gay, lesbian and transgender person that I hurt whether they knew it or not. I regret the way that I was back then and I stand here or sit here before you today as someone who is proud to support gay rights and wants to see gay marriage become legalized in all 50 states. Some of my friends and many in the Republican party disagree with me. And while I disagree with them, it is not always based on bigotry or prejudice, at least not on a conscious level. However, the very nature of telling two consenting adults who love each other that they are not allowed to get married seems to go against the grain of every teaching in the Judeo-Christian philosophy. Far be it from me to debate anyone on theology, but thanks to many friends and family who helped me to evolve as a person and to people like Ted Olson, I believe that denying gays, lesbians and transgenders to be married is a fundamental breach of constitutional law. I don't consider myself to be a religious man, but I'm very spiritual. And while I would never claim to speak for Jesus Christ, everything that I have ever read or pored over about Christ leads me to believe that He would show compassion and love for gays, lesbians and transgenders, not cast them aside as sinners destined for the layers of Hell. Those who make the asinine argument that allowing gays, lesbians and transgenders to get married would pave the way for polygamous marriages in America are not only being dishonest but foolish. Just as it was wrong some 50 years ago to deny interracial marriages in America, so it is today with denying gay marriage in America. If you are a true Christian, I believe that you would see gays, lesbians and transgenders as your brothers and sisters of Christ. They are our teachers, our bosses, our co-workers, our military men and women fighting for our freedom. Think of the irony: denying marriage to a gay man or lesbian woman who is overseas fighting for that person's freedom. It is long overdue that we acknowledged the rights of gays, lesbians and transgenders. Because to fail to do so, would only make it a wrong. Thank you for listening.

Thank you! Gay marriage ought to be a conservative value! Don't republicans want LESS government interference in our personal lives, with separation of religious values and human rights issues? It's a complete double-standard. But I'm glad some people see sense. :) Keep fighting with us!

We may have similar political views (or have had them for a long time) - But it is really great of you to speak out and voice your opinion of acceptance towards others. It is a big leap (sometimes) to stay conservative and admit that feelings that were once bigotry are now simple, immutable ways of life. I commend you, sir, for voicing your opinion so articulately and with compassion. You are a demonstration of the fact that you CAN be conservative and still promote the life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness of EVERYONE - Regardless of race, creed, or sexual orientation. Cheers bro.
