So during my English class we were told to learn and recite a speech that impacted our lives. I attempted to make this speech work, however, I could never quite deliver it as good as she did, and she is definatley one of a kind, the most amazing kind. So, yeah that didnt work, but I can now recite her speech work for word, and never hesitate to do so, cause shes awesome. Always giving credit to her as well.

I think people like Pink and Anne Hathaway, who don't think they deserve these awards because they are just being themselves and doing the right thing, deserve them more than anyone.

I love how she just stumbled through all of it, but managed to deliver a really great message. Plus the random additions like "shit where am I..." or "holy shit!" made me laugh :D Love her!

When we start accepting lies is when we stop recognizing the truth. ALL sin affects the world negatively. God said that sin enters the earth through man's thoughts, words, & actions. Choosing to sin against God is not "being born an abomination", it's a CHOICE to go against the authority of God & become a law unto each individual self. The Bible is the Word of God who created all things, & the only firm foundation to which all things can be weighed & balanced. That's why God gave man > his < teachings, laws, Commands, judgements & the historical account of creation. God put all these instructions in the hearts of man so that they are always aware of their 'choice' of serving good or evil & what is allowed or forbidden. Hiding from God was the first thing Adam & Eve did when they chose to sin. They weren't "born sinners", they chose sin. Secondly, they blamed God for their sin! It's an impossibility for God to create a human being with an unforgiveable sin, call it a hated, abomination, or then deny him access to Heaven. Impossible! God said, "Neither homosexuals, adulterers, fornicators, murderers, liars, thieves, gossipers, usurpers, blasphemers, nor idol worshipers will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Sin is not OF God; sin is OF Evil. God will not allow Evil into Heaven. What kind of world would it be if liars, adulterers, murderers, etc. designed their own flags, held their own parades, adopted innocent children, taught them how to steal, lie, murder etc., organized themselves into gov't. positions to change their crimes into acceptable laws, then forced the world to accept the accumulation of their sins as 'normal'? Would it be like Sodom? This is God's world & God's rules. This losing battle that's meant to force a world to accept & respect sin without consequences actually involves changing (not the world's laws), but the laws of Heaven, which God will never do.

I'm not a fan of her music and haven't really heard anything from her that I like, and then I heard this speech. Sure there's plenty of her famous "attitude" and some rather immature moments, but the message between the 5:00-5:30 mark is spot on! Congratulations Pink on the award and gaining a new fan. I'm still not crazy about her music, (cut me some slack kids, I'm 50) but like the message!

One time I watched a youtube video about Pink's daughter Willow's short haircut. For some reason I get Pink and Busy Phillips TOTALLY mixed up- like dont know who is who- mixed up! Dnt ask me how cuz idk man lol my brain just mixes them up. But I remembered Busy saying that her child Birdie told her to tell the public that they would like to use they/them pronouns. I ended up mixing Pink's daughter Willow up with Birdie, thinking Willow was Birdie! (I didnt know what either of the kids looked like) The uploader of the video commented: "SHE is a GIRL no matter her hairstyle", and I stood in defense of (who I thought was) Birdie, and said they used they/them pronouns. Then the commenter got super mad that I "suggested" that and was saying really transphobic things. THEN a fellow transgender ally ALSO came at me saying "SHE is a CHILD its not your business to label her!" thinking I labelled Willow because of her short hair, and i immediately realized I mixed up Birdie and Willow, but when i tried to explain it to the ally they clearly didn't understand that I was standing in defense of who I thought was Birdie because Birdie would want ppl to stand up for them when adults misgender them! Then it blew way out of proportion. The transphobic uploader of the video banned me from commenting cuz of my liberal agenda and the ally thought I was labeling a child before they had a label because of their hairstyle. I think about that a lot to this day. lol. If you were that ally, here is the explanation of that crazy and unfortunate time. haha.

@paigesour Pink is not dissing Mormons individually. She's pointing a finger at the church, and rightfully so. They donated a reported 180,000 in support of prop 8. She's calling them out because they don't pay taxes yet are allowed to donate to political campaigns. Although this is not, it should be illegal, and she's calling it just that.

Yes, she is dissing Mormons individually. But it is devout Christians that Human Rights Campaign truly hates more than anyone else. HRC is the real hate group but it constantly lies, accusing other (non-hating) people of being motivated by “hate”. HRC is a loathsome organization that persecutes good people. (And by the way, I favored gay marriage and trans rights decades before those two ideas gained popular acceptance, so please …)
