+Peter Rakoc Jason Segel is a totally different actor. Jason Sudekis, who is in this movie, and the one I was talking about is a terrible actor. Jason Sudekis used to be on Saturday Night Live. Jason Segel did not. Also, I have to disagree w/ you re: The Nice Guys. I didn't find it a very good film. It's the same film as Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, another film by the same director. They were both messy and all over the place, not precise or well-made at all in my opinion. The only thing I liked in The Nice Guys was the little girl who played Ryan Gosling's daughter. Sorry I had to disagree w/ you there, Peter, but I didn't like it.

+Peter Rakoc Reviews are just critics. And critics back in the day said that Forrest Gump was a better movie than Pulp Fiction. Reviews said that The King's Speech was a better film than The Social Network. Reviews said that Taylor Lautner was an actor on the rise. Reviews said that Taxi Driver was too violent and bloody for American audiences. So you can believe reviews or you can believe your own eyes. Jason Sudekis does the exact same character every single time up, and what's worse that character isn't even the least bit interesting.

Well those are all just comedies that dont require much from an actor so I want to see how he does in a drama

+Peter Rakoc He was in Meet Bill and also Drinking Buddies. And a dozen comedies. It's all the same character. He's stiff dry and made out of cardboard when he acts. And don't tell me you can't do different characters in comedy. Because I can name a dozen actors and actresses off the top of my head who do interesting character work in comedies. I feel like we get the actors and the movies we deserve when folks say, well just give him another chance. He'll be better in a drama. Or, he just hasn't had the right role yet. Or some other silly excuse. I say stop hiring him and find folks w/ actual talent, not just name recognition from SNL or whoever else. So boring. Comedies used to actually be smart, did you know that? And part of it was they had real talented actors: Harold & Maude, Manhattan, Annie Hall, The Apartment, Trading Places, The Last Detail and so on. Stop giving him a chance. His career needs to die! He's the worst of all.

Yep i agree about the state of comedies they are all the same and when something fresh like Nice Guys comes out it bombs at the box office and about Jason Segel i only seen him in a couple of things so thats why i defended him but i will look up his filmography a little more
