Does she mean run flat tyres. I’ve never heard of drive flat. Also when she said her daughter was 32 I thought she was going to say 18 😂
@jdfi19803 жыл бұрын
Think those tyres are more commonly known as 'run flat tyres'. Arguably the daughter was negligent for continuing to drive without checking that the tyre retained its shape. Continuing to drive with a tyre which is obviously flat was a potentially fatal decision. I suppose the big question is why the 32 year old daughter who works in the NHS is so reliant on mummy.
@craigwilliams67343 жыл бұрын
That’s harsh, but most woman would not have a clue about the puncture, how it feels or how to change it (if it wasn’t run flat) - those pricks at the Main Stealers sold the car to her with “run flat tyres” & they weren’t! They need to replace all 4 tyres IMHO

This account doesn't make sense. It would have been immediately apparent if it wasn't a run-flat tyre when it was flat, it wouldn't support the car's weight, and the car would handle differently when driven. If it was a run-flat tyre with a puncture, why would it explode? Tyres explode due to the weaknesses in the tyre wall when under pressure. If there was no air in the tyre, it could not explode as there is no pressure (it is in equilibrium with atmospheric pressure); the worst that would happen is that it deteriorated and come off the rim.
