So typical of this country. Rather than the government sorting out this epidemic of car cloning, various companies and Councils are allowed to hound the life out of innocent people. Even, as in this case, to the point of totally ignoring a court judgement. It's shocking, as it could happen to any of us at any time.

That was a choice and cost he made. I don't know why he would have done that to himself.

Trying to get a car back from the council impound was one of the hardest things Ive ever done. 😂 I think it would be easier to spring someone from a high security prison.

If it's a business car (he's an Uber driver afterall) he may have business insurance which covers this type of thing.

I would advise the owner of the car to get the number plates changed, it might cost them a bit but it'll save them alot of bother if this type of thing continues.

You should also say you've had to borrow cash off family to make ends meet, as you've no wage for the time they've got the car & obviously with that comes family interest rates😂 All add$ to the claim you deserve. No wonder local councils are skint!
