Not only did this show talk about feminism, but it talked about racism, child abuse, toxic masculinity, abusive schools, human rights, adoption & orphans, LGBTQ+, bullying, loss of family members and grief, and so much more. and they cover all these topics way better than any other show that I have ever seen. This show is one of my favorite shows of all time. It is so sad that this show which sends so many messages and just, in general, is beautiful is being canceled but Riverdale continues to stream on Netflix. #renewannewithane

I'd just like to share to anyone that thinks that sexism isn't a thing in the modern day, A few years ago I was part of a ISTEM course which is a combo of science, engendering and math. So I also worked in the library at my school. This guy would always be in the library plays g with a switch board. One day we were having a conversation about what subjects he would take the next year. He got really excited and said that he was taking the ISTEM class. I said cool I am in that class now it's really good. He replied with: "Oh you must not be very good at the class though since your a girl." I just yelled at him to leave the library and said he wasn't aloud back in until he apologised to me. Basically went all she hulk. I went and told my guy friends about this, they just told me it was no big deal and I should just move on. I came 7th in that class. I beat all those guys who thought it was no big deal. I also got a higher score then the guy that said the comment in the first place. A shirt is not an invitation to think of someone as less Intelagent then you!

If you haven't watched the show yet, I'd hiiiiiighly recommend it. It deals with so many real issues, and not only from the past. Things that still affect all human beings in one way or another. Plus, it is truly an amazing show with an a amazing group of actors. It's based on a novel and it was cancelled, yes, but it had an ending. It's just that the book continues with grownup Anne so that's why us fans were so sad. But the ending is *chef kiss*! Warning, though:odds are you may feel emotional and deeply invested, tear up, cry or even bawl your eyes out (present 🤚🏻) in every episode. Not kidding, there is not a single filler episode, every one of them is 100% necessary for the story. The reason it was cancelled is cause it's a Canadian story, filmed IN Canada, and in Canada the broadcasting companies must 5% of the gross profit to the Canada Media Revenue (meant to help Canadian artists if they don't have the $), but Netflix doesn't "need" to pay it, but it's common for companies to do so cause it's a good cause and it's not that much anyway, but Netflix refused to pay, cause they're greedy assholes. And so thatwas the end of yet another amazing series. Meanwhile they keep investing in bs like Kissing Booth and 365 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

This is based on the old book series Ane of Green Gables. Very good show. It did unfortunately get cancelled but there has been a lot of protesting going on with that. Some people raised ebough money to put #renewannewithane on a billboard in NY timesquare. Yeah that one scene is a bit culty, but it was cool lol

They missed the good parts - such as how Rachel got the women added to the board (she was a bit scary there) - though that would be a spoiler. Also, those clips ignore the fact, mentioned in the show, that Jerry had to work and could not go to school. You have to react to episode 5 of season 1!

Even as a man, looking at some of the things that happened back then terrifies me. I have a beautiful loving wife who is the mother of my children. She runs a successful business, she looks after the house and the kids, she is a very intelligent women. I love that we live in times when my wife and daughter are treated equal, they can be anything they want to be. The new age feminists don't understand shit, it's just a bunch of angry women without purpose venting their anger at something they don't understand. The struggles of being a women are known only to those women who lived their whole lives in the 1600s, 1700s, 1800, 1900s etc.
