I love this cozy little space. The wood trim on the windows and doors is amazing. I was envisioning a small accordion rack above where she had her coffee station with a hanging basket for coffee pods and pegs for the mugs... but by the end she had taken off the doors and rearranged the whole thing!

Mel - you are so creative - this is just a good reason to let your ideas flow and please know we are on this journey with you (through Anne). Remember you can put shelves over the tops of the doorframes in the kitchen too! That would give you decor room. Change is hard but we are praying for you!! You can do this!!! :)

YES, I took my doors off as well to show my pretty dishes. I also added shelves above my windows. That helped a lot. I came wait to see what all you do. It’s just a challenge but you have good taste and great decor. So that’s a plus.

No, I love love the wood. It’s a wonderful old house, just fill it up !!! Remember you can do shelving and maybe even shelving above the windows. I hate for you to get rid of too much. You have such beautiful stuff. Oh I love apple pumpkin. Smart idea Mel!

You could even add an old cabinet with glass doors over the potty. I did that to hold more of my goodies. I scaled down too. It’s a challenge but it can be done.

Sometimes we are surprisingly taken out of our element only to find that the new adventure ultimately was the best thing for us, maybe not initially, but ultimately, Mel is so talented with her decorating, she would make any space fabulous and hers. Mel, you could relocate your Smegs to the top of your fridge. And with that dining room, I’m sure you’ll be able to put a lot of your other pretties in there. I like the tv room as is. The bedroom is small; probably your biggest challenge. I love the flooring though and the charm. Oh, you did have a huge kitchen before. Oh my goodness, you could add a pot rack though from the ceiling to hold some pretty things !!!!!
