I adore the fact that you let the lower and middle registers of the instruments shine. It's very "earthy" and "woodsy". What a wonderful choice. Thank you for this and all that you do for us.

Congrats on the score it sounds great. That's a cool overdub technique you used blending mutes and sul tasto on top of the master recordings, defiantly has that large string section sound. The cello solo sounded awesome too and the scoring stage in Vienna 😍 The score video's remind me of early Bear Mc Creary making the music videos, it's cool to see you make something so in depth about your work

Nice to see that quite the regular team has assembled by now (Andrés, David). Also great to see the contrast between the unassuming outside versus the... absolutely NOT unassuming inside of Synchron Studios. Thanks Anne!

I can just say that I'm absoutely in love with this whole soundtrack! 🤩😍😻 The movie is amazing and I am looking forward to hearing the great sounds from the second and the third movie as well.🥰 Hopefully there will also be a "Woodwalkers - Opening Theme" in the next movies. This would be fantastic because every great movie should have an opening theme. 🤩🍀🎬

Keep rocking, composing, developing emotions like you do, big thanks!

WOW Anne, beautiful score...just perfect...beautifully well done. I'm in love with your work. I say this because you're music is very special to me and I love how you compose and I can feel your passion in your creation. I just love your work entirely. I've been following your work for quite some time now and I enjoy and learn so much from your videos. It is a dream of mine to become a composer like you. You're quite the inspiration and motivation to me. I even watch the movies you compose the score to because I study how you create music to scenes in the film. I can't wait to take my niece to watch Woodwalkers as I love these types of films. Thank you so much for making this video to share with us all. Much love from Canada.

I love beeing allowed to follow and learning from you. So much to find out and learn. I heard that you wanted to use a number of ethnic instruments: in my mind I heard something like Dune or Lion King. But then I suddenly understood - this is film music, supposed to help the story. And the story is showing a more or less normal young person, not something from a scifi movie. And then music is sort of common as well (sort of genre, but very beautiful). Not taking away from the pictures and the story, only (not so only) adding feeling and movement. And it really works! You must be a total pleasure to work with for the director/producers!

Question: Did you approach any of your themes or ideas differently knowing that this is the first film in a trilogy and that youd be developing things across two more films in the future?
@AlchemeticaКүн бұрын
Thanks for the insight into the project. I wondered if you ever play part of the mock up to the musicians to give a feel for the work or never do that as it can be counterproductive. Or of no value when you have professional studio musicians, and just eats up studio time.
