Kate Bush is unbeatable on this song of course. But nobody could have cover this song better than Anneke, she does a stellar job here. Tarja Turunen did sing this song as well and it was absolutely awful to my ears (and everyone knows how skilled she is). Proof that it's an incredibly difficult one and Anneke nailed it, it shows how good she is as a singer.

I would like to know if Kate can still do it. Unfortunately she does not perform live very often. The last time was in 2014 and the time before that was in 1979.

Speciaal om deze show te zien een paar daagjes in Deventer verbleven. Wat een goede show was dit. Anneke heeft een prachtige stem en ze weet de liedjes van Kate Bush daarmee verrassend goed ten uitvoering te brengen. Daarbij ondersteund door een drietal fantastische muzikanten. Een absolute aanrader om naar toe te gaan. Enige minpuntje vond ik de toegift. Zelf zou ik met Babooshka afsluiten of in deze tijd wellicht met Army Dreamers.

Yes this performance is very impressive from a technical point of view. But he doesn't have the feel... He is just showing off. I'm a huge Ayreon fan but i'm getting tired of this singer actually, he sounds like he's constantly over singing and showing off to show how great his vocal range is. Anneke is singing with her heart, that's the difference.
