Annette Turns Toxic To Deal With Survivors (V-Ambushette Build) - Resident Evil: Resistance

Just a heads up on what I currently use on Annette with a pretty high success rate. I don't think running old style Annette is that viable anymore due to the amount of tools survivors now have at their disposal.
Something I want to note is I've been thinking of trying out the Reclamation Anchor, it may slightly improve the economy, especially for the infection variant for this build, but I am aware of how easily Survivors can take them out and earn 10 seconds (but also they can be a distraction). If I were to try it out I'm not sure what to replace it with, maybe the Quickdraw? Or the Crawler?
Sadly with this game pretty much being confirmed "dead" by the developers I don't know for how much longer it will last on PC so I'll try to get some footage for videos while I still can. Capcom simply didn't take advantage of how good of a game they had and it honestly feels like they did almost everything possible to stop it from succeeding.

Something that I didn't fully explain in the video. I believe the reason why V-ACT enhances Ambush further is that what Ambush (and Enhanced Brain) do is they decrease the inactive period when spawning a zombie until they start getting up (how they just lie there doing nothing for a bit), with full Enhanced Brain (or just Ambush) this inactive period is erased (which is also why using Enhanced Brain on top of Ambush is useless). V-ACT on the other hand increases the get up animation's speed, so every time that a Zombie has a buff their get up speed will be increased, that is different from what Ambush and Enhanced Brain do, which is why both enhance each other. Since the inactive period is nonexistent with Ambush you cannot control a Zombie to make them get up faster since they are instantly doing their slower default get up animation (like was explained in the video).

Does Fresh Blood affect grab tendency during getup/spawn animation at all?

Literally someone told me about FB a few minutes ago, I honestly forgot it exists. I don't believe it does (or it is insignificant) but it will definitely help out the horde once it is up to grab more frequently. I considered making a note about it as I forgot about it, if you are to use it I'd say replace Viral 2 or Claw 2/Virulent Claw depending on your equipment setup (24/25). EDIT: I did some testing to confirm doubts with that other person. When a Zombie stands up and they see a Survivor in their vicinity they will always 100% go for a grab, if the grab is done from the front they will do the "climb" grab, if the grab is done from behind they will do the ankle grab. Fresh Blood has no effect on those at all, it only changes a Zombie's behavior when there is a different kind of action they could do outside of a grab, while they are standing up they either stand up fully or do a grab if they detect a Survivor (and the grab is 100% in that scenario).

So it’s better to leave Fresh Blood out of builds like this to make the most use. Since these zombies die quickly.

Hey I know the developers decided to stop with this game (not sure why they openly said that) but please don't give up it either. I think it has potential minus a few bad things they did with it

Well I like this game too much to give up on it, I am still playing it pretty frequently (I don't really have a game to move to either). I just don't know for how much longer the PC playerbase will last, hopefully there will be a long lasting community despite the circumstances, even if small.

Is it true that this build has a bug? I've seen a lot of comments on other videos saying is almost imposible to beat this build and there's a bug where the creatures remain invulnerable even when the yellow aura that indicates that the creature is invulnerable disapears.

Nope, that is for Daniel's Invincible. If you control a zombie and then leave it at a certain moment the i-frames will not be gone. With Ambush what happens is the yellow effect that indicates i-frames can disappear too early, with the i-frames still being there, which confuses survivors into wasting ammo for 0 damage (I think this only happens for Survivor side not from MM's perspective). Latency on top probably aggravates this.

@@NickGostone oh thanks for responding. I felt bad when I found out there was a bug, so I stopped using the build. No team has ever reached area 3 when I was using it
