Annette's Mum came in handy. African Mums don't just like sitting idle. They always look for work to do. Keep her busy other wise she will start remembering her cows and chicken back home. The over grown grass look for a jembe, put on gloves cos you are not used to farming. In the Garden if I were you, this summer naweka kales, kitunguu na tomatoes thats my priority🤣. Request mum to help you put in a kitchen garden if its helpful to you. Kazi mzuri. Mum can help and advice on the garden. This will keep you physically fit also.🤪💘hizo potty kama si maua ni kitunguu, sukuma, spinach ama maua. I love your team work. I love cleaning yards and seeing the end results.

Hi Annette and Slavi and family. Spray white vinegar on the weeds growing on the pavement, better on a dry sunny day. I have the same issues on my monobloc patio. I’ve tried removing them with tools as you are doing but my hands were all blistered. Bless your mama ❤❤❤

Annette there are some weed spray which we use u can aks around u just spray it n it kills the weeds by drying them but it should be sprayed only when it is shining. In the long run it will be much better especially when u are alone n mum is not there to help u .

Annette, there is weed spray you can get for the weeds, which will kill them. It'll be easier to remove them after. Also, get a broom with a long handle for the yard. You'll hurt your back when you bend that much to sweep and brush /pick up the weeds. Get gloves for weeding. Don't damage your hands by weeding with bare hands.
