I loved the filming set up. I worked close to 40 years at Ford Product Development at Dunton in Essex UK. We had a High-G mechanism that simulated crashes by accelerating a sled at the same force as if it hit an obstacle and stopped suddenly. I retired in 2004, and at that time the filming was all done with film, and illuminated by a bank of hundreds of tungsten lamps one each side. They got super hot, but only had to run for a few seconds. I worked in a neighbouring section, and when the siren went off signalling a test was about to happen, we always ran to see it.

As a commercial electrician here in Canada I’m really blown away by those led tube lights. The 97 CRI and near zero flicker is wild. I don’t know of any tube lights on sale here in Canada that come close to that CRI and even dimming is still sorta rare on that style of what we would call a ballast bypass T8 bulb. Seems like everything is just a bit better in Finland 😒…
