It's so beautiful how he is entranced by her but realizes her because her happiness is tied to where she lives, and in being where she belongs. Miike ,shedding his nihilism, gives us something to look the same way the boy sees the young woman and her(deaf? Blind?) accompanyist in the moonlight.Just accepting it and being amazed that he's been allowed such a vision. why cant we approach things this way, humble and amazed?
