Annie Tarasova Conversations with God (the trilogy) including Neale Donald Walsch's 4th book, Awaken the Species. Not in any way religious, by the way! Can't describe how these books transformed my entire life in every facet… Finally introduced me to a god I can fall in love with and not fear- one with no ego and no expectations of any single one of us. There is a workable spiritual answer to basically any question I feel anyone could have about well, metaphysics and the world in which we live, as well as the force of God as consciousness found in you and me and the universe alike among so much other exceedingly enlightening content. Addresses the most thought-provoking, alleviating, FREEING and spectacular (in my opinion) insight and how to awaken the species to virtually evolve overnight (granted if we all grasped and lived the philosophies). Honestly a masterpiece. Conversations with God is the reason I am even on my spiritual path for it has been the most divine portal to myself. Blessings to you all, and thank you for another lovely and inspiring video Annie x🌞🌙✨ Hope you will check CWG out! You will never regret it (or so at least I believe)!

“A New Earth” made everything click for me on my spiritual journey. When I read it...it was a “YES, THIS IS IT” moment. I was given the book by my father in a dream and he had a message telling me that i was going to find what I was looking for in it. It was weird but I take dreams seriously, so what better way to tell me lol. A few days prior to the dream, I bought two books including “A New Earth” but I chose to read the book that was more familiar to me to no avail and was frustrated...until I had the dream...it has catapulted my spiritual journey!!! It was the last thing I packed before my trip...will never forget it!!! Def going to give the other suggestions a try...looking for more to read!!! And Untethered Soul by Michael Singer was awesome book as well! Thanks for sharing!

I hate to burst your bubbles, but you need to read the SEQUEL (it's called "My Ishmael") before you promote Ishmael. I, too, fell in love with Ishmael, and after I read the sequel I felt sophomoric for relating so hard to the first book. For real, if the first book changed your life, the second book will blow your mind.

Just wanted to say, thank you for recommending Ishmael. I had just finished it as my 8th book of the year and I had found it to send me down a cynical understanding of the world for a moment, but right back into the clarity after a life experience chatting with a "conservative" over the idea of hunting. I had come to realize that being a city born individual, I had realized that the political mess between "polar opposites" is an example of the idea of leaver vs taker - the fact that the takers have forced the leavers to convert or die mentality, then I realize that was happening literally in the world today. Thus, that realization and encounter humbled me to realize, at the end of the day, we are all humans, we are all of the core and oneness - shed all the labels we are all of the same race. Just wanted to say thank you for recommending a book that brought me into a hermit's cave and back out into the world to integrate the wisdom. P.s your accent is adorable. Your symbolic things in your room are awesome. :)

The five books that changed my life are - the Scriptures (the Bible), Coelho's The Alchemist and The Pilgrimage, Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet, and the Celestine Prophecy of James Redfield. Those were the books that made me understood the connection of every being to every being and the Cosmos to myself; the rise of New Consciousness; and of course, how we would rise from the chaos and see ourselves. I love your videos and the way you view life and things. You truly are heaven-sent. Much love and light coming from your heart. You're beautiful as Nature is. Keep the good vibes coming. And also, I am also recommending you to read The Web in the Sea by Alice O. Howell, the Return of the Prophet, and of course, The Celestine series by Redfield. :) Blessings from the Philippines!

Ok annie. I appreciate all that. I have started meditating and feel like it makes me feel less from my thoughts, they become just superficial happening and don't control or come from feelings. It changss me, how my whole emotion thought action process works. Does drawing due that for you? I think reading poetic works which really focused me got me into another brain wave state. I mean maybe art is for you like for an athlete who is 'in the zone' . You are not really doing it. It flows through you. Since you have been dong this so long you are really in touch with this inner energy. So you fel nature and stuff so naturally. So like you said opposite of my idea. I as a kid was not given creative outlet (if suppose I were good at drawing) so tried earning money doing techie stuff but could not concentrate on engineering, computer stuff, too technical. My power is in my body, doing yoga, singing, nature worship. So whereas I and most people in industrial civilization deny inner creativity and therfore access to their spirituality and get worse, neurotic or with luck have a spiritual crisis which many cannot handle as it goes against their idelogy of middle class life, you have a more smooth ride, seemingly natural as you have not made a break with your inner nature, except the time studying naturopathy. Only problem is earning a living from art without becoming cynical salesman, destroying artistic spontaneity. Think of van gogh goung crazy. I read your stuff about meditation, hands getting hot and now tingling in spine from book. Maybe gradual kundalini awakening will happen without massive downtime stress many suffer as they have denied inner self so long, which you have mostly avoided. Watching your video again today at first I got energetically so drawn into you like a magnet, strong. This is typical for me. Sometimes I feel lots of energy from people, other days I feel nothing. Before 2015 however it was just internal like you describe in hands, spine so no stress as very gradual over years,. I thought awakening was a nice personal thing going on in me. The external phase has become much more difficult. Being very introverted it forced me to become rational, objective about feelings for people. Like if my heart chakra or 3rd eye reacts strongly to you it is now normal like other 5 senses but at first it only worked on certain people and I obsessed, took it personally. Awakening goes through such phases. You are amazed that your hands heat up then it is normal, you learn to control it it spreads around your body, it gets to be tooo much, you chill out, do yoga to spread it around, pour it into your art, take nature walks, go out with friends. Meditation is a control mechanism for ever higher energy levels for me. Energy means emotions and meditations distances one from feelings(quiets thoughts, emotions). So I am starting to get back where I used to be, introverted, logical, thoughtful, slow, unemotional. Meditation is a great tool to steer, control increasing energies from awakening. How do you get ideas for art? Would meditation calm mind and help flow of ideas or destroy creativity? There is theory that successful people are driven by childhood neuroses, artists too. After psychotherapy their art is no good as they are healed. Other great yogis like sri aurobindo have ideas just flow from them as they become enlightened. It would be interesting to see how that effects you and your art. I bet it will just get better.

I read Ishmael after your recommendation and after that I was literally telling everyone around me to read this. Its so hard to explain this book in just two to three lines because at one point it goes to the point before the universe was made. Honestly, Ishmael is for those people who have patience and love to read AND who wants to know about mankind and the aftermaths. P.S. I loved Ishmael And I'll be forever guilty from the side of whole mankind to all other living creatures, for the destruction I cannot stop even after knowing (reading Ishmael) everything.

One of my favorites I stumbled across during travels was Gary Zukav's 'The seat of the soul'. A great book of knowledge and easy to read. And as I haven't done it yet, at least in word here, thank you for your advise in the last video. I took a screenshot and read it whenever I feel panicky, take a deep breath, and also visualize my partner saying that we are not going to stay forever in Germany but will go back to New Zealand. A Monster Calls: kinda reminds me of how you described The Alchemist. Its written like a childrens book, but has such a deep meaning behind it. Its about a boy who's mother has cancer & he's been having nightmares that he cannot come to terms with, so this 'tree' basically comes to life and tells him 3 stories. (huge meanings behind them) then after the 'tree' tells these stories, the boy has to explain to him his. along with alot of other things happening in this boys life.

Soul For Thought I love Conversations with God! People may be put off by the title and think it's religious but like you said, not at all. I have read and reread them many times and they always bring me peace and serve as a gentle reminder to come back to myself, to remember where I came from and why I am here. Everything in the books resonated with me, as if I already knew this information (we all do, we simply forget..and it is set up that way on purpose). Another one of Neil's books I'd highly recommend is Home with God. It is a follow up to the trilogy as well and it is about death and dying and it will give you a whole new perspective on what happens during the process. It is great for those in mourning and anyone really who wonders or fears the process. Spoiler alert: There is nothing to fear. :)

Yes! I whole heartedly agree. I read CWG when I was 14 years old and it has changed my life. It was on my dads bookshelf and I picked it up one day and my dad said I should read it with an open mind and it changed so much for me. Thanks for leaving this comment. I always hoped other people recognise how amazing Neale Donald Walsh is :)

I read Ishmael during the summer after I graduated. I think i've bought about 10 copies because I keep giving it to people to borrow and they keep keeping it! I've now read every Daniel Quinn book I can get my hands on. Once you get over the strange reality of a gorilla "talking", you won't regret reading it!

It would be helpful to have the books listed below the vid allowing cut and paste rather than wasting paper. The Four Agreements is great. Be aware of some notions from the book that are devoid of rational thinking and seem pretty out there from a personal and scientific based opinion. That said its wonderful like many personal development books which also can tend to stray from reason at times, yet the heart of the books truly is a powerful message, actually its a repackaged Buddhist approach that is much more accessible for a wide/diverse range of folks! Also, The Artist Way by Julia Cameron, Following your own north starr by Martha Beck (Amazing!), and lastly The power of vulnerability by Brene Brown. There are so many lovely books, but these are tops for me.

My Recommendations: 1. The Bhagavad Gita 2. The Upanishads (ideally with Comments by Swami Nirmalananda Giri) 3. Yoga Sutras by Patanjali Believe me 95% of the Spiritual/Enlightenment books were written based on these 3 books. Even the extract that you read "The Mastery of Love" came from these 3 sacred texts. Additional: The Power of Now by Eckhardt Toll

Okay so my favorite books are " Martin Eden " by Jack London, " Aurélien " by Louis Aragon ( two such beautiful love stories ) , " Terre des Hommes " by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry , all the Harry Potter's stories which gave me the smell of reading and of course " The Alchemist " which changed my life when I was younger and which is a big part of who I become now ! So yes but this list is going to change soon I guess :)

A book that really inspired me is "God and the Afterlife". Sounds weird and religious-y, but its not in the traditional sense. Its about the universal lessons learned from people who have had NDEs. It's an eye opener to being authentically you and realizing that Divinity is within All Things; including yourself. I teared up reading some of the accounts and the after effects on the experiencers' lives. Give it a read; it may just change your life! 👍
