A few books in English I enjoyed and would recommend... 1. 7 Habits of Highly Effective People 25th Anniversary edition - Steve Covey -This book has helpful principles and ideas to make you focused and productive 2. Influence 'The Power of Persuasion' - Robert Caldini - This book reminds you when to say no! 3. Autobiography of Malcolm X - Malcolm X and Alex Haley - This is a journey of discovery in self identity that needs to be read to the last page 4. Long Walk to Freedom - Nelson Mandela - This was a difficult read at the beginning but the book lays a foundation at the start that makes this a very important read reconciliation, identity, struggle, interpersonal relationships, principles and very interesting

Wild Ones please read it, her MANGA book and a diary with years that you can fill in. I am doing the method and it is changing my relationship with things. Not to hoard my time and energy with my clothes, books and papers, etc but to view them in a BALANCED way, appreciating what we achieved together in the past, present and...if we decide to stay together in the future.

I donated five big bags of clothes and miscellaneous items to a charity, and I feel great xx it’s so organised and makes my feel lighter and happier :) I still live with my parents so my room was the only thing I could focus on, but I still feel accomplished! Can’t wait to read the other books, thanks!!

I will definitely have to check out The Slight Edge. I have always had that problem too of not being able to see projects through to completion. I have so many different interests and I often feel like I'm a bit ADD because I can never stick with any one thing for very long. Now I am starting a blog and KZbin channel and I have already invested a lot of time and money with very slow results, but I know if I stick with it, good things will happen. I have already read several of the other books and they are definitely great. I have The Power of Now on my shelf but haven't read it. Probably because my x-husband gave it to me so I was resistant to it. Trying to release resistance! Thanks for the great reviews!

Young Adult readers may already be familiar with Esther Earl’s “This Star Won’t Go Out,” but adults should be aware of it too. The book gathers the writings of a girl who died of cancer at age 16, along with stories and reminiscences from her friends and family. Earl came to mainstream public attention with the help of author/vlogger John Green, but don’t think this book is an award winner only because of his contribution. “This Star Won’t Go Out” is touching and inspiring!

Thank you, Aileen! I actually haven't read any of those yet! I could really use the money one, since I am *terrible* at asking for money for my services. Ugh. Could use some tidying up too!😅 *MY LIST:* 1. "Life's Golden Ticket" by Brendon Burchard (Great for reading if you feel stuck, depressed or are going through a tough time. I read it after a major breakup and it gave me an entirely new perspective on my life.) 2. "The 4 Hour Work Week" by Tim Ferriss (Not done reading this yet, but I've already quit my job and have boosted my brand & business since starting it. Great for entrepreneurs and people who aren't full of talk and empty of action.) 3. "Motivation Manifesto" by Brendon Burchard (The tone takes some getting used to, but it is a very powerful book. I suggest reading a passage from this each night before bed.)

Eat Pray Love is one of those rare book which when transformed into a movies still remained as intriguing and inspiring as the original work. Four agreement is one of the book which even my non-reader best friend loves, the best thing out this book is the simple and easy language while still being profound and really helpful. The Slight edge is something I am looking for to read. PS: love your work..Always like before watching the video.

I read 3 out of 6 books! This is my Four Agreements affirmation: "Today I will be impeccable with my word, I will not take anything personally, I will not make any assumptions, and I am going to do my best." That book was definitely life changing! I recommend reading Conversations with Myself by Nelson Mandela. It is a biography with excerpts from Mandela's unpublished autobiography and transcribed recordings with Richard Stengel and Ahmed Kathrada. Through those resources, you get to see how Mandela holds onto hope and sees the light in the dark. I personally think he is the epitome of what you, Aileen, have shared with us. The book has left me speechless and I can only tell you to read it! Another recommendation is Wabi Sabi Welcome. The book has beautiful pictures along with articles describing the wabi sabi concept in four different places. It is a nice supplement book to read after The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up that furthermore tells us to appreciate what we have. My current read is Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert since it was on the list of books in the Artist of Life workbook. I randomly popped into my neighborhood used bookstore and got it for $4. I'm super happy!

Ever since receiving from you, A New Earth and reading it with my boyfriend outloud, we've been meaning to pick up The Power Now. You are right they are dense books, but I think NOW is the time to finally pick up that book!

I noticed that every summer I fall in love with a certain KZbin channel. This time it is definitely Lavendaire! I also like two of the books that you've mentioned - Eat, Pray, Love and Four Agreements. They're awesome! I'll read 'The Power of Now' and 'The Slight Edge'. Thanks for the recommendations. I can recommend Mark Manson's 'The Subtle Art of not giving a f*ck' - it was a game-changer for me. I cared so much for such an insignificant stuff, sometimes forgetting about the things that really matter. And this book really helps to overcome this foolish habit. P.S. I am not sure about money mindset. I guess I have issues with that. But all I want is to have enough money - not too much and not too little. Making lots of money seems a bit selfish to me. Like if you know how to spend it and spend it on something good, helpful, etc., then ok. But if you are just making money to make money to have more money - it is a sickness, in my opinion. Maybe I should read the book after all! And maybe it is an influence of one more book I am reading right now - 'To be or to have' (Erich Fromm)

I started reading The Four Agreements because both you and Jenn Im recommended it and I could see why. I now keep urging all my family members and friends to read it too. One of the favorites I read last year was The Dance of Anger by Dr. Harriet Lerner. I don't know if someone as positive as you would need to read a book like that but it really helped me let go of the negative energy and the anger that I was holding onto at that point in my life. I still need to re-read it because this mind tends to forget and fall back into bad habits. Which is why I've already put the other books you have recommended about being in the present and how to be consistent in my to-read list too. 💕 Thanks for sharing this, Aileen. I hope you continue to be as positive and inspiring as you are now.

I recommend to you my favorite book, the one that changed the way I see life, it's called "The Code of the Extraordinary Mind" by Vishen Lakhiani. I'ts a book that comes with an online course, so it's super interesting to read a chapter and then do the part of the online course referent to that chapter. I love your videos, please never stop!!
