Just had my last track day of 2019 @ barber motorsports park with Jzilla and it was a friggin BLAST and this video is why. THIS is what track days are all about. No mods, no power increases. Just getting better as a driver and destroying my personal best time.

@chief, no it isnt. It is a VERY tire friendly track, just like Road Atlanta. I barely lost any tire depth on all four tires after the track day was over.

I'm glad to see you putting videos out there I thought you fell off the planet I want to ask you a question on your car do you have brake coolers and have you done anything to your suspension to your car I'm thinking about putting some brake coolers on my 5th gen Z28 brake coolers

No, I didnt fall off the planet. LoL. I'm basically retired from making YT vids. I may put out 1 or 2 vids here and there, but for the most part I'm retired from YT. I dont have brake coolers on my car, but it's something I'm buying next year before the new season starts. Havent done anything to the suspension either. Reaper is all stock brotha.

yo dude: I love you, Reaper and your videos...I started watching a few years back...Started with a 2014 six yellow RS, modded out like the Transformer. Then upgraded to the 2018 2SS Hot Wheels. But then I heard about the 1LE, AND MY LIFE CHANGED. Got the 2019 ZL1 1LE (same Crush Orange color as the '18 Hot Wheels) and it was game on. Been going to Barber Motorsports in NJ and you got me hooked on TRACK DAYS!!! Never had so much fun...But in 2020, I sold the monster and rested my ass in a Mercedes G63, which I always wanted. Now I miss the track, so I'm buying a Gen 5 '14 1LE, a LOT less in cost, but just as fun on the track. What do you think? 14 2ss/RS 1LE with 3500 original miles, never tracked? One day I'll make a video and show you all my pics of my Camaros. By the way, I heard Eagles may go after Nick Foles again for next year....Go Eagles, Im a die-hard fan!

New 2 your CHANNEL: I appreciate the track information. Do you have any information about who, how to contact to start driving on tracks for people that haven't do e it yet? What is the cheapest way to get to drive on tracks? I talked to JZILLA and I'm going to start tracking in 2020. I would like to me drivers like yourself to learn. I'm in lower Alabama. Thanks Also what is best glasses for racing into the sunlight? What camera setup, apps etc do you use? How do you edit the videos? A lot of questions, sorry.

Since ur in the SE like I am, the only two event hosts I use are Jzilla and Just Track It. They are class acts and all of their events are great. All you have to do is go to their websites, enter your info and sign up. Depending on the track, a single track day can range from $250-$285 and that's for both and is the cheapest you will find in our area. Just regular sunglasses will work best. Dont need anything special. I have a bunch of knockoff gopros that I suction cup to my car and that's how I get the film. I use Sony Movje Studio Platinum to edit everything. Dont worry about asking a lot of questions, I dont mind at all.

Excellent lap DV and congratulations! What was was your reasoning for a PTM setting of Sport 1 versus Sport 2 or Race? I've been running mostly in Sport 2 recently. 👍

The reason why I kept it in Sport 1, is because my intent while there was to beat my lap time. Not confident enough in Sport 2 to go out there and drive as hard and aggressively as I did. So I left it where I felt the most comfortable.

1:56 in my VW GTI @ Barber Motorsports Park on my first track event ever. I also had a full weight car with instructor. Car is not stock at all though. My channel has videos. Good luck stay safe. What tires do you use?

You're right about that. The fact that the track was newly surfaced, went a LONG way in creating a lot of the tire squealing you heard in the video. But, like you said I was definitely going harder and more aggressive in the second run.
