My thrall does best with the Predatory Blade (1-handed sword) and a shield, which is what I also use for PVE. However for PVP, I do use the Annihilator with damage-mod and poison.

How is your thrall doing better using a predator blade? Everyone of my thralls using the predator blade want to use a heavy attack like 90% of the time. The heavy attack on the predator blade is 0. If your getting damage through i think it would be from the base damage stats from the thrall and the shield.. plus what ever light attack he does when he actually does it... I like the idea of every attack the thrall attempts, to be at max damage.

Its a consumable that you will have to re-apply after 10 strikes

Get well soon Firespark. Quick question, do you think they should nerf this thing? It seems weird to me that its better then the Sword of Crom. Which has the insane disadvantage of draining your stamina bar with 1 go. This thing doesent seem to have that much of a disadvantage really.... Its very easy to grind legendary repair kits.

Tell me about it. I would like to know how the hell I managed to get a respiratory infection mid-summer. Have not been to the doc yet just been trying to kick its ass on my own but it doesn't seem to be working. Gonna go to doc next day or 2 if I don't start to see some real improvements. Odd that ignores armour means the armour and shield that you used , not including armour granted by agility. Funcom declared that long time ago. Meaning if total body armour + shield =400, if agility say 10 so it is 400+(40) not 440.

This sword is trash now don't waist your time farming it. I have eight and they now make great wall decorations and that's it 45 damage and 33% pen. You can better with gardens steel

The blade of the adventurer is also a great 2 handed sword. It has 82hp damage with advanced weapon damage kit.

When farming this weapon after killing boss do I leave the dungeon then come back or is there a reset timer so I can just sit there and wait?

Bosses reset just like world bosses, possibly same timer and you don't have to leave th dungeon

You can run the entire dungeon, and when you defeat the final boss and return to the entrace you will find that all bosses has respawned, chest took more time so no more rosted keys in the next run.

What's the difference between 100% armor penetration and ignoring armor (or armor negation)? My guess is that ignoring armor/armor negation mean that the weapon will deal damage as if the target has zero armor. While armor penetration drops armor value of the target every time you hit the target.

Armor pen has diminishing returns. You hit a point where it just stops making a difference. I forget the value it's in one of my testing things videos. like 70 or 80% or something like that. Ignores armor does not have this problem.

This is what I've been wondering. From what I've read it seems all bosses have somewhere around 86-88 armor; now does that mean it's the same as players? If so, then even an armor-ignoring sword won't make much of a difference in damage. Also, do NPC humans (that aren't thralls) actually have armor rating that is representative of they are wearing or do they just have that default 86-88 armor?

Well isn't that an awesome weapon and to top it all off I'm more of a sword guy myself I was taught swordsmanship when I was young to which would be probably playing into a part of that anyways it's good to hear your voice firespark81 it sounding a little bit better not 100% yet but you're getting there and I'm glad to hear it although I would suggest some chicken noodle soup if your throat still bugging you always worked for me when I was a kid anyways firespark81 you take good care of yourself and keep up the good work when you can but remember don't push yourself Life's Too Short don't end it sooner than it has to be enjoy the adventure while you still can because once it's over it's over and I'm pretty sure a good portion of us would not want to see you go quite yet I for one would like to see you stick around longer than I so I'll catch you next time hopefully

Dude-make this broth for yourself to help you recover more quickly: 1 tbsp minced garlic 1 tbsp ginger (fresh is better, but powdered is ok) 4 cups chicken broth 1/4 of an onion, diced Bring to a boil then turn to low and simmer for about 30 mins. Strain and drink. I add honey to make it more bearable...it isn't tasty, but it works. Feel better soon!

Put the annihilator on your thrall and then you use world breaker hammer 100% armor pen 40 something dam and you stack sunder.

Are critical hits weapons making a difference in effectiveness at both pvp and pve fights ? Got many of them and even if they perform well and are overall cool they dont seems to be much more powerfull than a hightgrade weapon. Those ignoring armour weapons are not op imo they are very good but stacking venoms, bleed and sundering just do the job as well and you dont have to go for a pure warrior strenght build to optimise dps (wicht i like mind you). Good thing those weapons are easy enought to get when your are lucky.

I personally prefer to have the 2h maul on the thrall instead of the sword, simply stacks up sunder in no time on the arena champ and final boss, makes the kills nothing but a laugh

I want to love this weapon.... But I am sorry... NO... I burn down the same boss in 2 minutes with a LoadStone on my thrall while I am using a Predator blade. With the amount of repair this thing needs... It is not worth it.. I can see putting it on a thrall... But... otherwise not on your self. I'll stick with a predator blade or a Blade of the Adventurer. So far I am still convinced the LoadStone is the best thrall weapon in the game. It has nearly 0 AI bugging.. and that alone makes it better.
