Several of you have asked for the specific story on how I navigated funding my education after leaving Nigeria. It was a whirlwind to say the least but thank God for grit and favor. I hope this video inspires and blesses you!

This story resonates so deeply with me. Thank you for sharing your story. I am doing exactly what you said in this video. I don't have the funds, but I have strong faith. I got all the documents needed and even got my transcript to Wes because of the naija wahala of strikes and delays. Lol. Have begun writing professors by stating my expression of interest in particular courses. The research I've done, hmmm, I feel I need a mind detox and so does my laptop cos it's filled with all sorts of application materials. I know it will end in praise. I see my admission happen this Fall, amen!

After landing in Canada on a MEng program that is quite costly, I emailed several professors that I want to transfer to MASc (it's cheaper and have several scholarship opportunities), I got a supervisor and now have opportunities to apply for scholarships. Wow!!! This has really enlightened me. I had a virtual chat with a potential supervisor in the U.S and he told me that although he would love to work with me but funding isn't guaranteed because masters is usually self-funded at his institution but he understands the huge financial burdens on international students so he might assist me with partial funding. I was initially skeptical about applying to his school because I understand how hard it is to secure a visa from Nigeria with partial funding and I do not have parents or relatives that can afford such money but your video has really enlightened. Your video is a very big inspiration to what I am going through presently. I am not from a wealthy family so It has been stamped that I have to go through scholarship to seek admission and then I saw a website of someone who can teach me on how to apply myself but sincerely I can’t afford the money (100,000 plus in NGN). Few days ago I saw an advert of an international study consulting company and put in for the admission process for my masters at UK. The process is still on-going tho but my Mum asked me how will she be able to get the money for part of the tuition fee because I had the intention of paying part of the tuition fee and then getting there to work but still a part of me is so scared about GMT Th is decision and then I saw your video, I don’t even know how but you are a life saver to my situation and thank you very much for sharing your story and giving me that strength. Thanks so much for this video Dr. Ann. I would love to do Msc in US but I always feel bad when I hear about GRE. After watching this video, I have made up my mind to prepare for it and write the exam this year during my NYSC this year. Secondly, I am seriously interested in fully funded scholarship. So I got admitted into MTU and has deferred till Jan 2022 in hopes that I get a GA or a TA or anything. But with this, I am definitely taking a leap of faith. I am going for my visa interview...wish me luck. And by faith i am resuming in Jan. And few months after that, I am definitely tell you I got funding.
