I think you raise a great point about dedicated Kingdom Halls. When a new KH build is completed it’s “dedicated” to Jehovah. That is the word they use, they have a special meeting and a dedication talk and prayers. They do the same with assembly halls and other buildings too.The word dedicate as a verb means “to set apart and consecrate to a deity” and consecrate means to make sacred. So in a nutshell when a hall is dedicated it is being made sacred for worship to Jehovah. It reminds me of the utensils in the Temple that were solely for the use of worshiping Jehovah. In the Bible, when the temple was attacked and the utensils were stolen and used to worship false Gods, Jehovah was angered. So, if you follow their own logic, the organisation dedicates the property to Jehovah, and then, if they sell them to another religious group, they are willingly handing over reserved sacred things for worshipping false gods for a profit! 🇬🇧

My husband's cousin and his wife were JWs, dedicated everything to them. His cousin worked in the construction trade and did a lot of work in the kingdom hall. A few years ago, he was diagnosed with colon cancer. He was in a lot of pain, and eventually, the cancer took him. No one, and I mean, no one from the kingdom hall offered help, financial or otherwise. His wife said only one person came to visit him one time and that was it. Thankfully, she disassociated herself from the organization and never went back. I loathe this organization, which is nothing but a brainwashing cult, which has broken up families and friendships and caused some people to take their own lives. You know what would be really cool and useful...if you were able to get hold of that part of their financials that show how many KH's have been sold off since they started doing this a decade ago. The WT started selling off tons of KH's, regional translation offices and even some branches in Latin America. Then they sold Brooklyn etc...Like you said they got a taste of money....Having an actual legit official count and proof would be useful to help wake people up, I'd use this to wake a few up. They ARE a non-profit which requires them to publicly disclose their financials, may require digging through all the tax returns of all their subsidiaries. Did you know they sold the main Brooklyn buildings for 1 Billion?! I had an insider back in the day share this with me. Reliable source.

They told us we were having a massive refurbishment, the hall was a big hall and owned by the local congregation, then they said we were to give it to the governing body, low and behold, they then sold it for 1. 5 million, we were then moved out to a small hall a few miles away to share with 3 congregations! I'm free!!! After 30 yrs, my husband and our oldest daughter and family are out as well. It's quit a sad story but we have made it out! We tried to fade, it didn't work. I finally submitted my letter via email. They did think it was from me! 😂 Anyway, after they used a deceitful method of contacting me and I was able to tell them myself how I felt about things I'm sure I won't have to worry about them ever calling me again. They went on to say how much we were loved and I let them know I had never felt love I don't know how I could have possibly stayed for 30 years it was only because I loved the God that I thought loved me. I feel duked but I'll take it because I'm free now, no looking back! It's just so bizarre that I was ever there that I raised my children there that I succeeded with a perfectly happy marriage. I left with no friends, Lol but only the ones I came in with. I was completely loyal and did my best to be obedient but I would never ever go back and I would tell anybody to run like hell! I like your video, I’ve been homeless living in my car for most of my adult life since I was dis-fellowshiped when I was about 22 and now 45…my father stops by to “help” once a month or so, but it’s tough during the winter months, everything I acquired in my life my parents gave away. I can never get anywhere in life. I always have to find a bottom of the barrel job just to have money to survive. I still love Jehovah with all my heart. (Back story) my parents are super into the religion and awesome examples of a perfect “witness” but since I was dis fellowshipped my father was not allowed to give “public talks” …basically asked to retire…and he’s a wise man with great knowledge, I saw his heart break from that and I feel so much sorrow from what I caused him. My brother walked away, and received no penalty for it. I have a life of being condemned with no everlasting life because I confronted it. Where is this just God the organization says of Jehovah? I think you are spot on. If I remember correctly, recently I caught some of the manipulation (I can't remember if a watchtower or video) when they were stating on how to be obedient when congregation is consolidated and to obey and trust Jehovah's direction, yada yada yada. Another recent video was about being reassigned to another congregation, even if it means leaving the kingdom hall your family is in. It is textbook mind control and conditioning and when they close down and sell these kingdom halls they will all go, "Look, they predicted this. This is Jehovah's organization." The GB is just so depraved, wicked, and flat out corrupt and it is sad how manipulated and controlled these good people are. Thank you two for the help and you are correct about finding a purpose. God drew me out last year and I found Jesus and woke up. I believe I am here, as with you and a multitude of others, to help and offer the support needed for those that are waking up. Keep up the good work and thank you again.

And been JW since she was 20. I was raised in it and got out as soon as I turned 18. Bringing children up in fear is so wrong,in any religion. Got so sick of hearing about "the end." I know my mom is dissappointed that "the end" has not come yet. I remember the 1974 threat. And here we are,50 yrs later. Mom will never admit the Jehovah Wittnesses were wrong with their "threats." I feel so sorry for her. Shes 91 and her health is failing fast,just from old age. Something she believed she would never experience. I still remember my surprise,at 18 ,when I realized that,some day,I was going to die. Now,at my age(my secret)it kind of bothers me still.😮😢😂😂😂😊

In Australia they are building the media centre for their move into the digital space and selling off their physical spaces. They won’t be dealing in physical stuff because it costs money and having a digital empire will have low cost. One thing that woke me up was me asking several times a year for their special big study Bible and they wouldn’t give it to me. I seriously asked soo many times for years and never got one. I found out when I left it costs money and because I hadn’t paid for one with my contributions then they refused the order. I had no idea that the congregation had to pay for all their literature before they ordered it.

I have no idea why you never received your study Bible, but you are incorrect in stating that the congregation has to pay for the literature before they order it. For years I did literature ordering for 3 congregations, not only did we not have to pay for literature before we ordered it, we did not have to pay for literature at all!! All the literature is provided free! This is the problem with most of the comments on sites like this, they are false and misleading and unfortunately people who read them believe them, which in turn perpetuates the falsehoods. Sad.

@Dontlie2024 At one time, literature was 25 cents each for the watchtower and awake. Publishers & Pioneers were paying for the literature. It changed later for the reason that, as a tax-free exemption organization, the watchtower was coming under scrutiny, especially because another evangelist was being called out for what he was doing by the government. Watchtower then started telling all publishers to ask for voluntary donations. The GB even came up with an outline for JWS to say at the door to collect donations,especially if the householder received any literature. Note the individual that made the comment said: "I found out when I left" ..this indicate, if the individual spoke to a former jw, who had perhaps gotten out the WT organization BEFORE that change came, was basically expressing their experience AT THE TIME. Bottom line Watchtower creates these types of situations because of their many organizational changes & doctrinal changes. Example: Watchtower NEVER allowed DISFELLOWSHIPPING/REMOVED. An individual could say: THAT'S A LIE. Depending on when that individual came into the WT org. Watchtower's so-called " New light" is nothing more than changes in policies & rules for legality reasons. Their doctrinal changes are to change the direction of the organization's belief system to appeal merely to the newer generation. Although their own Bible says: " God NEVER changes." ..Watchtower knows exactly what they are doing, by playing with the psychology of their members & giving the appearance of former members as "LIARS " when really it's NOT the case. I am truly glad to see so many leaving this organization and gaining their freedom of their minds to be independent critical thinkers.

There is a lady who does keep coming to my door trying to read scriptures or start a study with me over a brochure, or invite me to assemblies or the memorial. For a while I indulged her simply because I remember how it was in field service, but she started coming by like 3 times a week. That’s too excessive. So, I’ve stopped answering the door because she never gets my hint to stop coming. Most people would have by now. Point is, they still stalk you if you give them a grain. I told her from the beginning, my family is in it. I’m not anymore, and I don’t want to get involved with any of them again after all the crap I went through. As for this stuff, I’m not surprised. I’ve already explained my worst fear privately for them all to you. I’m surprised they didn’t hype up the solar eclipse into some crazy sign from the heavens too. Either way, I worry about the people in it, I’m grateful for what you do too. Hopefully many more people will listen to you now.

I grew up in the JW Organization i thank God i was a rebellious kid and hated going and never got baptized and never listened to my mom about any of it. It truly saved my life and now I experience the true freedom and Love of Jesus Christ through the Orthodox Church. Its almost like God has been protecting me all my life from them. Even as a small child i always hated these people and had a feeling they were lying to me. Glory be to God!

But there are still countries particularly from Africa that are bringing in a lot of people. And remember it's not just about bringing people in, it's also about keeping witnesses busy, and feeling they are doing a worldwide witnessing work. How will Watchtower coerce people? The " gathering together" thing has been the best coercive tool they have. I can see they will have no need for Bethels but I can't see people "remaining faithful" if they dont get together. Shaming and coercive elders will loose there sting. Look, my parents also were still of the generation that built their local KH. I never baptized myself, so admittedly not much at stake for me there. But I think this is good. People will have an easier time fading and getting rid of the indoctrination. My parents will be forever PIMI, but I see how even they are more and more disillusioned. Recently a neighboring hall got sold and their congregation folded in, that's a 2-3 hour drive now for them (back and forth) if they want to physically attend. People are attending via zoom and that's it. My parents, who are both disabled, turn the Zoom meeting on while they do other stuff at home. If even die hards like my parents are fading, think the newer generations. It's manifestly just a man-made religion, a christian sect and high control cult. They are also becoming just another televangelist e-begging organization. Let it die. It's okay.

" I knew "exactly" what Leo Greenlees was, when he gave a talk at Dodger Stadium 1975. He said, "1975 Could Start The Battle of Armageddon." Seriously, it sounded like a Shakespearean London performance. We all know about Shakespeare, in "As You Like It." Greenlees was "telegraphing it" from the platform through body language and voice inflections. He even looked the part.
