I dont understand how you and the other foxes and Fossils are not superstars?! America really missed the boat on that. I'm a drummer from London and I've here in the states and I gigged all over London and we had record companies interested but it never worked out so now I answer phones in a call centre to mostly very angry people. Steve Young, the writer of this song... As I grew up, in St Louis Mo, I clearly remember the lead up to seven bridges road, and the Eagles singing it. My dad worked with Chris Young, Steve's brother. I would get regular updates and hear adults having conversations that this song was going to be a big hit on the radio. It was a big chatter among the employees where my dad worked. I met Steve, in passing, one time, but had nothing to do with his song. As my dad was good friends with Chris Young, it was a great experience watching that song go through the roof. If I recall, correctly, this would be late 70's and early 80's, and most of the conversations were ones that took place at the company's team softball games. That may be where I met Steve. I was the bat-boy for those games, and got to hear the bullpen talk. I think that I may have heard the original version of the song before the Eagles sang it. Maybe the demos. I do not recall Steve Young, and I do not recall him being famous, in any way, other than this song. I believe that he was from St.Ann, in St Louis County, Missouri.

I'm from the Philippines and so thankful to have chance upon in KZbin you guys doing that CSNY Suite: Judy Blue Eyes.....what a performance...and I watched all your performances available at KZbin and I would say Foxes and Fossils has the perfect talents put together. The Fossils are all prolific musicians and could give big name musicians a run for their money. The Foxes have the sweetest and angelic voices I ever heard. It gave me chills wnen I first saw and heard Sammie singing the Gladys Knight classic , "Midnight Train to Georgia", at just 14 years old...and Maggie doing the "First Cut is the Deepest"....their voices are so pure and sweet...I wish they are my daughters......please consider me now as your fan and follower...I'll be watching out for your new music releases....I wish everybody success, good health and the best of everything...keep safe guys and God Bless.
