Annoying Éowyn Singing

I didn't think this was horrible at all. Eowyn just lost her cousin, whom she was close to if I remember the books correctly. I think her voice sounds fine. She hit the note she needed to evoke the perfect emotion for this scene.

Actually it makes it realistic that her voice isn't like some Grammy winner lol movies tend to have laments sang so beautifully pitch perfect when in reality it would be hard if you're watching a family member be buried at the same time.

wow ok her voice sounds funny because she's a fucking great actress. she's at her cousin's funeral. she fucking loved her cousin, and she's very close to crying. it adds an emotional element to this scene, which you just ruined. thank you for appreciating the cinematic genius in this movie wow i cant even believe how great you are and how great this video is

You tjink it's horrible simply because it's not sweet, delicated modern song with some nice words? It's supposed to look like medieval ages, so maybe think about it's own canon of beauty, add the crude culture of Rohan and THEN write it's horrible. Actually it fits very well to the movie and I think it would manage even in the book.

Yes, I am so deeply offended by some stranger that probably lives on the other side of the globe, that doesn't change my life in any sort of way and thinks he's making a "joke" when in fact it seems he's lessening one of the most powerful Éowyn scenes with this title. I should probably get a bandage too because that will leave a bad mark on me for life.

To all of you saying its one of the best moments from lotr, its a deleted scene, there is a reason why peter jackson didnt want this scene in the movie, its just awkward and too much. Funny video, and its obviously a troll, so dont be so offended everyone.

blazeblase actually when i was in film school, we were told deleted scenes very often have nothing to with the director not liking it. More often than not they take out small snipets because every minute of film is very expensive. This allows the production company to release the normal theatrical version amd then re-release an "extended version" to shore up more sales. It gives fans a reason to either a. Spend more money on the extended version or b. Some fans might even buy the movie twice.
