@@segevstormlord3713 You can buy potions for gold in the shop building, in this video there is a considerable amount of time where OP defends himself from red attempts at pushing into his base with his blood mage mostly on his own, this is possible because he bought-spammed a lot of potions to keep his hero in shape to fight off the pushes. Red seemed to be under the impression Blue was not very experienced and had not taken an expansion base (basically a secondary base solely for resources) but Blue was actually very, very clever in taking the expansion defended by strong creeps at the beggining of the game by closing them off between trees by abusing their AI. Buying a lot of potions with T1 and no expansion is a cue for your opponent to understand you have expansions but Red never did notice said expansion until the game had been going for 16 minutes, way too late

it's nothing I did something similar on a map with zeppelin and in the end my enemy had one building left but instead of killing it I bought zeppelins zeppelins zeppelins and let them Patrol over his last building till he left after 2 hours so prolly the last thing he saw was hundreds of zepplin patroiling over his last building (it was 4 vs4 map i could buy so many zeppelins from goblin shop lol(

In all fairness though, the reason why meta exists is because it is the best way to play when you are *so* good that you can easily counter any cheese or weird strats tht ypur opponent throws at you. Meta is created by pros as a way tio beat other pros, guys that are extremely good at stopping anything that you throw at them. "Meta" is the most effective strategy to play that maximizes the efficiency of your heroes, army and economy. Try beating Lyn or Happy with cheese or weird strats, and see how that works out for you. They will see it coming from a mile away even if they don't scout you, and will *easily* demolish you. But this applies only to the top 0.1% of -players. Against these insanely good players, you need to play meta. Not playing meta is 100% guaranteed loss. But noobs and mid players should not play meta, because you lose 1,000,000 different ways. If you don't know how to stop a tower rush, or a mass mortar zeppelin drop behind your base to kill your main, or mass bats liquid fire Vs your main, or when the opponent does a Blood Mage/Beastmaster/Tinker harrass as he straight techs to tier 3 with towers to rape you with mass tier 3 units like gryphons, chimaeras or tanks, then you have no business playing meta. Meta is only for players that cannot be beaten with these lesser strategies because they are Grandmasters and can stop them with one hand behind their back.
