@@Rico24337 Yeah lmao, that shit is banned at any raw bench press competition for a reason, literally aids the lift 10-25%. And there is no way his dad doesn’t know that, the way he downplays it in the video is just straight up weird. “truett tried it the other week and didn’t find it helped”. Well that’s because he doesn’t have experience with a slingshot, once you use it for a little while and get used to it, it easily aids your lift by a LARGE margin.

Back in the early 90's the HARD CORE gym that I used to go to also had a annual Bench press contest . They had two categories #1 MAXIMUM WEIGHT #2 BENCH YOUR OWN BODY WEIGHT which had the most competitors in it ! The bench press your own bodyweight truly tests your own strength 💪 and endurance Ended up finishing in second place with 23 reps at 145lbs which is what my bodyweight was .first place guy was 190 pounds with 24 reps .errr lol I noticed that when competitors hit the 15 rep it was like someone had instantly racked another 50 pounds on the bar 🤣
