India is 33 times the size of South Korea with an extremely diverse population and hostile, war-mongering neighbours. Despite these challenges we’re doing well. Those who believe “India is poor,” need to work on their mindset. Someone’s perception based on anti-India media can not be our problem. We don’t need any kind of validation.
@ivak48022 жыл бұрын
@babu r@o Where did you get these statistics from? Please give me the link. Go and read the IMF and World Bank report, India has almost eliminated extreme poverty, and this is post Covid. I’m sick and tired of Indians calling themselves poor without understanding the complete picture. Just yesterday I saw a video on poverty/homelessness in Korea. India is too vast to label it as poor or dirty. SK is a colony of America. Stop eulogising it

@babu r@o No access to electricity means no infrastructure, which is untrue. India has achieved 100% rural electrification. Power cut is different from no access to electricity. There may be cuts due to growing demand, but now households are switching to solar energy. For clean drinking water, GOI is carrying out Har Ghar Jal campaign in a phased manner. India has had these problems since decades but now things are changing. We’ve progressed a lot in last 8 years. At least change the mindset and start highlighting the positives; we’ve western media to highlight the shortcomings, something they’ve always done. India is anything but poor.

I am Russian but I don't think I have ever focused on dirty places of India.. I have always seen how beautiful India is.. India is a very large country to be organised, it must be difficult for gov to take steps coz not just in India, but everywhere, the opposition will never let the good happen with the current gov.. had India been a smaller country with smaller population, with "cleaner" politicss, I bet it would have been easier to be organized and cleaned.. What foreigners don't see is that the speed India is been developing and evolving is definitely mindblowing & appreciable.. Especially when travellers from England and USA show only the dirty section of India, from what I have seen, at the unhygienic street stalls, where even Indians might not go, & then they try to rate it? or they would purposely go somewhere where there are cows and buffalos, and purposely spread info about how this is India,, only because of views or to spread false things about India; That is really really very infuriating.. "If you wanna visit any country, keep your rac1sm and stere0types aside, otherwise you won't be able to enjoy the beauty of the country, because stere0types arise from people's minds & not from truth", that is what my father said before going to India.. and we really enjoyed our stay in India.. I have visited Pune which is in Maharashtra with my father due to work purposes, but I want to visit India as a whole with a travel approach 🧡🤍💚 specially, I want to visit South side and Northern East side of India..

India isnt dirty as long as u travel in cars, stay in luxury hotel ,apparments, shop from big malls, eat from fancy restaurants.. But the reality is such clean luxury places consist only a fraction of the country. Apart from DLF mall try visiting Sarojini market, Chandni chowk .. travel on public transport, eat on local restaurants then u will understand.
