LAWYER ANOKYE, may you and your generation prosper, long life to you. He got the name of the News reader on GBC/GTV correct SELMA VALCOTT(fair beautiful lady).A Nigerian settlement in OSU is OSU ALATA.One interesting and funny history about the 1948 boycott and looting was that many people from Osu got cans of unknown liquid from the Indian and Lebanese shops only to realize it was red paint, so homes in Osu used them to paint the floors/doors of their houses. Those 3 soldiers were Private ODARTEY LAMPTEY(not Obetsebi), Corporal Attipoe and Sargeant ADJETEY. The two Gas were notable sons of LA(Labadi). Sargeant ADJETEY and private ODARTEY LAMPTEY'S grave is near my JHS La Enobal 1&2JHS, sadly enough now the youth place football in that cemetery and a pathway to St. Paul's JHS when we have to buy breaktime snacks and food.

The NLM was interested in Federal system, rather than complete separation from the incoming nation-State, afterall the British and cocoa farmers depended on the labor pool setup in the North. The Unitary state won by Nkrumah really made him the foremost founder of Ghana.
@samuelarthur-dadzie6402 ай бұрын
The NLM actually wanted to secede from the Ghana project. They were not sophisticated enough to understand the practical workings of a Federal System. They wanted to be a country on their own - a separate entity from the "Gold Coast".
