Nkrumah was smart and ahead of his time. Even Canada was the same as Ghana The Queen of England had to sign every bill before it becomes a law. It was only in 1982 when the Canadians got fed up and Parliament voted for A proclamation Bringing Constitution Act so that they can sign their own bill to law. So Nkrumah did a good job making Ghana a Republic in 60's

Moving from Ghana to the US for just a year, the 3 most important festival or holidays I’ve noticed the Americans hold them high includes: 1. The republic day (recognizing the country sovereignty) 2. Thanks giving day (dated from “In God we trust) 3. Memorable day (Remember soldiers who fought for the people) This is why America is great!!! Ghana seems to lost its priorities & identity. Sadly.

Some Ghanaians are funny, because lawyer Anokye Frimpong speaks own history without giving the source or the history books to enable all Ghanaians can read. But create his own stories. Let him give the names of the history books or wed sites where we can all read the books. Again all political parties have their own political opponents so we shouldn't blame Npp. Those who overthrow Dr Kwame Nkrumah. He was overthrown by his own chosen military men. Namely Kotoka, Deku, Harlley, General Ankrah, Nunoo, Ocran, Yakubu and Afrifa..

You have a huge problem. What prevents you from sitting down to find out if what he is saying is wrong and not the truth? Don't be lazy. Learn. You don't even need exceptional books to arrive at what he says. Just a simple Google search will give you snippets of records that point to what he says. You should feel ashamed of the stuff you write-that's what surprises me about you. If you think Lawyer Anokye is not being factual, why don't you write your rebuttal or bring forth your so-called champion or books that disprove his assertions? You are only pissed off because you believed your own lies until Lawyer Anokye decided to come out publicly with the truth. Whatever Lawyer Anokye is saying are known facts and not new at all. As for you, you never seizes to amaze me...

Well-done sir for the exposing the truth. Ghana need men like you. But one statement you made on "LEGON" as a knowledge of Hill. needs to be corrected "LE" in Ga language is a name of specie of an antelope and "GON" means Hill. These antelopes in their numbers can be found at that part of the land in those days. So, the name "LE-GON" would be the hill of antelope. So Legon is not the Hill of knowledge as you said in your speech. but rather could pass for a hill of Antelopes. It is also true that knowledge in Ga language is Le. but that is not the real meaning in this context, It is sheer coincidence. I Trust that you can teach using the correct meaning. Stay blessed.

Exactly, our historians haven't helped us in helping to tell us our history. Oh mother Ghana, help us to discover our true self.

Too much talk, we need action 1. Kotoka International Airport need to be changed to Accra Airport or Nkrumah Airport 2. Big six needs to be erased from the history of Ghana 3. True Ghanaian history needs to be made a core subject in primary and JHS

@@matildagedzie8440 Those who are persecuting the history of Ghana won't allow it to happen. They enjoy from the ignorance of the people... They have officially removed any subject that deals with history from all the curricula so that they will ride on their false history... We are getting to a doom as a country, we pride on lies over truth. And amazingly they are happy with the lies that makes them proud than the love of truth. No wonder false pastors, prophets and preachers are all over the country to the detriment of future generations...
