I accidentally bought the M4.S thinking the extra letter means newer model. I might want that extra centimeter!!! I'll try them on first bbefore returning because they don't offer that M4S paint job I like in the M4 model.

Oh wow, when you showed the M4S lens on the M4 frame, you can see that the height of the lens is basically the same, just less wide. That helps -- I wanted something that didn't get pushed down so far on my nose from my helmet but maybe this isn't the solution, and I should just get the M4.

Hi Dan! Correct, the height of the 2 models is about the same, separated by a difference of only half a centimeter.

I just used mine today and noced that if you are really hot and breathing alot they fog up from the houtside and then condence water forms in the inside and mine even froze

For those wondering: 1. Will the M4 MFI stuff fit the M4S (and vice versa)? - Yes. The MFI insert thingy (for masks etc…) is the same size between the M4 and M4S (not the case for the old M2 which is quite different in shape). That means if you are switching from an M4 to a M4S (a I just did), your existing MFI inserts will work. 2. How much smaller exactly is the M4S? - Take an M4 lens and imagine shaving off about a centimeter (1/3rd of an inch) off the sides and the top. The bottom edge is nearly identical.

Does the m4s come with a lens that is good for mostly any conditions? As I don’t change lenses often and probably wouldn’t on mountain I’d rather put one lens on that gets me through the gamut of whatever I face for the day.

I can for sure say the regular M4 comes with a "low light/overcast condition lens that I did night boarding in and they were phenomenal. And they do very well on sunny days. I would assume the M4S comes with the same set up

I bought the m4S in December of 22' and used them at Whistler at Christmas and I had real problems with it, skiing in between -10C and -20C. They CONSTANTLY froze up and fogged on me. It was SOOOO frustrating. I have to figure out why this is happening.

did you ever remove the goggle, like putting them on your helmet while you're not riding? If you constantly keep on your face at all times, no goggle, no matter how cheap, will not fog.

Just came back from and tried to do that as much as possible but still had some issues with fogging, especially when wearing the mfi masks. Will have to be more diligent with always keeping them on my face next time and see if that solves it. @@rja62b

Does anyone see little sparkles of light/reflections when looking at sources of light? (The sun, when the sun reflects off my car). Not sure how normal this is since I've only tried the m4.

That most likely means your goggle lens is NOT polarized. Polarization will reduce that reflected glare a lot, just like in polarized sunglasses. Not every goggle brand offers polarized lenses as they are not that common in snow world but Anon and, for example, Zeal have polarized goggle lenses in their offer.

I have the anon m2’s but im looking to get the m4 or m4s. Do you know if the size of the m2 is the same as the m4 or m4s?

Its going to be closer to the M4S. The standard M4 has to be one of the biggest goggles I have ever tried on.

Agreed! Yes, the M4s should fit you well if you're used to the fit and feel of the M2.

MFI magnets on your RX insert would be interesting. I imagine you could get at least 4 magnets to line up through the frame giving just that extra bit of hold, no? And if they also line up with Smith mags, you cover those too...

No more or less than other top tier models. After multiple runs in heavy snow/ whiteout conditions some fog was detected but it held up the majority of the time.

Hey there! I wear spectacles similar to the frame you have. Both the M4 and M4S state they are OTG (over the glasses) compatible. I wanted to ask if you tried them on with yours(I noticed you removed them each time you tried the goggles ?) And if you did try them on do the specs work with the M4S ? My Face is closer to M-S.

Hello! It's really a case by case basis. If your face shape is on the smaller size and you don't wear oversized frames, then it should be compatible. However, any glasses worn under the helmet is very uncomfortable compared to the Rx insert. The frame chassis pushes the frame down on the nosebridge and the temples press hard into the side of one's head. Not to mention, you reduce your viewing range as well. I’m a girl with medium to large face and head and I was thinking M4 or M5 would be good for me and just got myself M4S by accident. I couldn’t be happier. They do look big enough on my face, if a shop assistant didn’t tell me I wouldn’t have guessed it’s an S. And I definitely don’t want them no bigger no smaller. They’re just perfect. Also the lover line angle of the googles fits perfectly with the lover line angle of my scull/chin, which makes it look even sharper. Just perfect

Hey Adam, they're hard to find as we near the tail end of the season. But you can still find a few models from retailers and private sellers online. Don't know of any off hand but there should still be a few out there. 🏂

Not any more or less than other high end goggle models. We recently tested these during some rain/overcast/snow conditions. Only after some multiple runs and full physical exertion did we notice some fogging on the backside. Held up pretty good for the most part.
