Single cop walking across the rough estate, no body armour, no taser, no cosh and probably no back up in the area. Approach three kids tells them to go home and are compliant immediately! Times have slightly changed!

good point...someone should show this to all the Trump supporters in America who bash black people in chicago all the time, "oh no, this wouldn't happen to white people who were living in poverty and had no support from anyone! They have good values!" it's not a matter of values, fuckfaces

I’m from Glasgow and i remember it like this (not so long ago) pulled a lot down and built new housing estates, I grew up on a council estate where there wasn’t much, you had your fair share of mad bastards , bigotry (on both sides) alcohol, glue the lot...... All I can say is a lot of these folk were absolutely great people, we were born into this, and most people would help out anyone (I’m still friends with guys I grew up with) friends for life..... so many great people and memories, laughs and so much learned, Glasgow’s some place 👍

Mark S Mark S nah if that exists it’s just some nutcase extremists. I think it’s a language. English is full of words from other languages. Portuguese and Spanish are really similar. Going by your logic, you could say Portuguese is a dialect of Spanish... Scots has words from English, Scandinavia and Gaelic. Is it really just a dialect? I get the argument for it being a dialect but there’s a bit of a grey area here. No clear cut answer. Depends on one’s world view, perspective etc.

I remember walking through Barrafield in the late 80's and while no one bothered me, there was always this atmosphere where you felt there were eyes on you. I mind hearing that on matchdays no fans ever parked their cars in the scheme - or if they did, they never seen them in one piece again.
