I’m from Glasgow and i remember it like this (not so long ago) pulled a lot down and built new housing estates, I grew up on a council estate where there wasn’t much, you had your fair share of mad bastards , bigotry (on both sides) alcohol, glue the lot...... All I can say is a lot of these folk were absolutely great people, we were born into this, and most people would help out anyone (I’m still friends with guys I grew up with) friends for life..... so many great people and memories, laughs and so much learned, Glasgow’s some place 👍

Love seeing the old fashioned policeman, my gran used to tell me stories of a local police SGT where she lived who would just use a stick and beat the shit out of the local men If they were fighting outside the pub and all the men would scatter when they seen him coming

we had one just like that, kick boxing champion and literally trained against us on the streets (always kicked our heads in)
