2:05 what kind of issues did the back of the cloak have, if you don't mind sharing?

There was a weird glossy area that wouldn't seem to matte down, which made the blends look weird... had I spent a few hours more, I could have potentially fixed that issue, although that was probably one of a few things holding it back.

Congrats on your win! Incredibly interesting process to create this piece, thank you for sharing! It seems abundantly clear that Golden Demon needs to evolve. Mini painting is more stylistically sophisticated and varied than ever before, yet they continue to weight the 'Eavy Metal+ style heavily and filter entries by mistakes within that framework rather than reward more ambitious projects.

I remember the McVey one and that scene is blockbuster so your version with so much more to it is one of the best I've seen as a spectator painting miniatures for some time. The Witch Elf mini has always imho also been one of the most iconic and well represented of the minis so that was a good choice too. And your future choice of the genestealers vs terminators is again a classic scene amongst classics. That would be wonderful to realize.
