We know it takes so much longer to do that. PLUS all the editing that you have to do too!! Thank you!! Thank you!!!

In Belgium there is already panic when there is 1 cm of snow on the road. When I see the temperatures and amount of snow you get, I have a lot of respect for how much work you have to take care of the cows. 💪your father has to take part in a singing competition.😂 Since your father is in a good mood, it's best to ask him now for a bunk sweep. 😂😂

In Minnesota farmers use a blade that attaches to the wheel loader, 15 -20 feet wide that works well when pushing snow.

Ian, such a beautiful family, you all work so hard and in the frigid weather it must make it even harder. Your Dad was the comic relief for the video today, lol. He's great. You explain every sequence in your videos so well and I'm amazed how many details in so many different parts of the operation you need you need knowledge in. Neline ended the video perfectly for you. Great, great job Ian! ❤ the channel.

Jon. Thank you for the video of your winter farm family life. Plus, it is great to see your happy, jolly Dutch farm father. He sounds like he has a good singing voice. I noted the crunch of the snow as you walked. I remember that crunch as I grew up along Lake Erie, which indicates it is cold. Please take care. Richard

Maybe a metal or rubber cowling over the auger drive belts? We had a 12' angled plow blade that we just drove the loader bucket into and hooked 2 chains - way faster to hook/unhook and plow - just keep going round and round - not much back and forth. Good Luck up there Jan!

Suggestion : get a gate for mineral auger on the auger so you can restrict the volume in the winter so it doesn't have to push a full auger. Isn't winter on the prairies a challenge compared to other parts of the world.

A wider push blade with adjustable side wings like in Mike Mitchell’s recent video could come in quite handy. A possible restriction could be the availability of the number of hydraulic lines available to the various features.

Last week in central Ontario we had +5 Celsius. Right now at 4:30 on Nov 30 it is 0.0 degrees celsius. Our weather event in the last 48 hours is an entire meter of snow. For the folks who use Imperial, that means 39 inches. Last week we had none. Power outages, major accidents on highways, it is a mess. Wow what a difference from last week.

I enjoy watching your videos and don't mind you talking about your weather...

Jan - is it worth letting the barns warm up further so the cows waste less feed to maintain body temp? Also would it make sense to put a jacket around the feed augers as every winter they tend to freeze up?

Hello Jan, is it perhaps an idea to make some kind of covers over the grain elevator motors so that they do not get filled with snow and ice. And the V-belts do not wear out so quickly and the motors do not seize up?
