I'd have given a LOT for my dad to love cars the way I do, and wanted to build them with me when I was young (or ever for that matter). Bill, you have a life a lot of people would envy, myself included. You have done a great job raising two self sufficient boys, who obviously love you despite your occasional ill temperament, and they have managed to grow up without alcohol or drug problems, or trouble with the law. You've got a wife who appears to care for you, and both have your health (for the most part anyway). You've got a business that sustains you and your family, and hobby you love and it seems you can afford. Believe me when I say, it could be much much worse. I very often have to remind myself of how great my life is compared to so much of the rest of the world. A guy I've worked with for years fell out of tree Saturday and died from his injuries. Life is so much more fragile than we realize. You guys are living it to the fullest. Just remember not to get so busy making a living that forget to ENJOY the LIFE it provides. It's easier said than done, but don't let life get cha down. Being happy takes a conscious effort. I'm 57 and I've lived with clinical depression my whole life, so believe me, I know what I'm talking about. I've never met you, but from everything I can see, you are a great man. Keep your head up. Life is good.

So now I get to pull that turbocharged horizontally opposed flat four and it’s packed in there like a six inch turd in a three inch pipe. Ugh...

they are easy to pull out done it many times should only take 2-3 hours. Some friends of mine ran a performance shop that specialized in subaru's they had a couple sti's that ran 9 second passes at the track. Rebuild the engine and use forged pistons the stock pistons are weak and known for breaking ringlands, also ARP headstuds and good quality headgasket's like cometic. Ive put a couple of those engines together it wasn't too bad.

Bill I'm loving the content buddy! Keep up the good work. I know the boy's can give you a headache sometimes. It's hard when you work, race, and try to run a family all at the same time. Each part of that needs a certain amount of time and after awhile there simply isn't enough time to be had. My Dad and Big Ross still get mad at us boy's and we are all over the age of 46. lol I guess we all just approach things a little differently. Now us being "the boy's" just like your boys have to learn reflexes a little better when you're working on race cars. You never know when a flying wrench or something else may be coming at your head. lol You learn to bob, weave, duck, and dodge! Now that I am a little older I am glad we all made it through alive. At one point we were racing round track cars, drag cars, and street racing every chance we had. That will take some years off of you real quick. Anyways brother not to gab too much on here, but I just wanted to say keep up the good work and no matter what anyone says I think you guys are handling all of this pretty good. Together as a family!

But he has responsibilities there also! That was for their trucks. Start turning some of it over to them. If they drop the ball....whose fault is it? Who do they blame???? You’re not gonna be there always....so they have to learn brother! You’ve done a jam up job in my opinion with what you have done with them. Now it’s time for them to start using what you have taught them! Just my 2 cents worth. Maybe you see things differently. Enjoyed this vid and you taught me something today.....so thank you!! I agree with the bypass kit, not only does it get the hottest water at the rear but all the ambient heat externally doesnt help matters either. Even helped on my SBF junk, on my old S-15 i drilled and tapped in the center of the old iron heads, looped a line over the VCs into a T that tied into the rear of the intake to the front. Still eat a gasket every year or so but wasnt making the power you are either, i care more about the technical aspect than the track time as you and the boys are hilarious sometimes. Forge on pops, you will eventually turn them into morning people😂
