I agree that there really isn't much time for investigating. I guess all that playing around is what the audience wants these days. The beginning of the series dirty rooms was great because there was depth along with humour. But not so much anymore. Also, lots of comments of frat humour I've been reading. The thing is that there are hundreds of youtubers who do the same type. So that really isn't new. But DB did focus on the serious side of dirty rooms which few have done as well as him. That's why he stood out for me, and I watched each regularly. But as more time passed and the emphasis was on Rick and his personality the dirty room, for me, became an after thought. It became the background. And a lot of people, including myself, wonder if the true intent of a dirty room will ever come back. At some point, people will wander off if he doesn't. DB isn't the only game in town. But for a long time, he was THE best because he opened the door to that side of American society few ever experienced. Now, us old-timers will be replaced with a whole new audience with a some hard core fans staying now matter what.
