I look at those rapids and think, "no way." They get in and make it look like ballet. Even so, they're smart and know when it's too risky for their level. It's always a pleasure to watch these guys run a rapid. I also really love to watch/listen to Dane talk to his mates and us about the river, and what's going on with it. If kayaking was a major televised sport, he'd be the best colour commentator imaginable. He'd be the one drawing the X's and O's and lines.

What impresses me more than anything about Dane is how river smart he is when it comes to safety. He can run almost everything, but makes the right decisions not to run everything and for what reason. It's not worth it!

Thanks and HNY to all you Senders. Hey, if you catch any views of Mt Kenya, that would be cool to see. That mining operation, or whatever it is, could use at least small buffer strip of vegetation to protect the water quality, just a little. Oh well. Bishop Pass 212% snow water = right now.

How can you drone scout a canyon behind a curve when you might do not have anymore radio contact between control and drone ?

Doesn’t run slot canyon with a reasonably straight line... runs sketchy zig zag with manky lines..... classic
